Phil did a nice job with walk through on the day of pick up and addressing any of our concerns. We did end up waiting over an hour after our appointment time before things got rolling though. Not sure if it was a staffing issue or clients beforehand taking longer than expected.
Overall enjoyed the ease of process of purchasing our first camper.
Although we had initial problems with the delivery of our RV, the sales and management teams at the dealership went through an extensive investigation into our situation and recommended many solutions- asking us which one best suited our needs. While this took some time, we were extremely satisfied with the end result. The RV will require additional work, but it will be done in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
Aaron the manager, Rich our sales associate and Mike the finance manager should be recognized for their dedication to our needs and their commitment to satisfying a resolution for all parties. They made a bad situation develop into a very satisfactory resolution for us and made us feel like a true customer and not a sales figure.
I would highly recommend this RV dealership for anyone seeking a great deal and a competent sales team, they are outstanding.
The whole team were approachable, kind and very professional. From Robert, PJ,Jonathan, Wyatt and Westin all of these young men treated me with respect, honesty and kindness from day one. This is my 4th American Dream 45a since 2017. All were purchased new and this 2025 is the first time I purchased from General RV. This dealership by far surpasses the other 3 dealerships I used, in Coach knowledge, customer response, quality of repairs and overall genuine concern by the staff. Just got our third trailer from General RV in Wayland/Grand Rapids. They are super to work with. Landry was a great sales person, folks in Delivery was great, Matt in the inspection and walk through changed plans and leaned into answering questions and letting us do things we thought important. Rod in finance was great and Audrey parts was super. Only issue was that they got rid of half of the parts and supplies area and I could not out fit all my trailer, no dishes, couldn't get a new map for my new trailer. Over all experience was super. We spent 2 nights in the parking lot so we could trade out our stuff and service even traded out our couch and mattress for us. The service department is what keeps us coming back to buy from Generla RV in Wayland, we have heard problems with others but not Wayland service is top notch the attention they give the customer over the top.
It was a smooth process from beginning to end. We feel we got a very good deal. The orientation was very thorough. Hopefully, if we need service, it will be as good as the sales process.
Aaron Pease has been great in helping my wife and me purchase a new Blue Ox hitch and a Brand Motion camera system. He shows professionalism, knowledge, and patience in explaining how things work, and when things don't line up, he shows solutions to consider. I will go to Aaron whenever I have questions.
I was checking on generators at General RV and found no Honda brands. I encourage management to add Honda to its generator lineup. In my opinion, Honda is the best, and I would not buy any other.

Janet did an extraordinary job showing me during a walk-through all of the advantages and nuances of my new motorhome punishment. She was very knowledgeable of all of the workings of the vehicle and imported that information to me in a professional manner. For me, Janet is the one that helps me in making a decision to purchase this home. All employees there were professional and helpful again Janet being the most helpful.
