A traditional local bike shop NOT dominated by any of the big "companies" with hyper inflated prices and target sales. Bike scene is an example in my opinion was once an owner run business but taken over by a global company with a more sterile atmosphere and prices virtually fixed.
Value this business they're a rare breed these days.

Service and help and advice
Great personal friendly service. I find it better to go to a bike shop and speak to the experienced experts than trying to purchase things on the internet - especially if the purchase is a whole bike that you are going to have to live with for years (technology just keeps changing all the time). There are a multitude of choices out there so good honest advice is really useful and saves simple mistakes. Cheltenham Cycles helped me select the bike a wanted (critically getting the right size), set it up when it arrived and will adjust and check it after a few miles riding. Very happy with the service and would recommend them to all.
