I regularly take my staff to East Coast Wings for lunch. We like the lunch specials. The salads with grilled chicken seem to be made with very fresh ingredients.
Once again, East Coast Wings in Hickory didn’t disappoint. Destiny was on point as a bartender and server from beginning to end. The food was prepared perfectly, and the portions were large. I always look forward to eating at East Coast
servers were very nice upon entering ECW. Was attentive most of the time but when got busy really didnt acknowledge me but once. I was alright with it, since I had also ordered a TOGO wings as well. Will be back very soon
The lunch specials were superb and our server was excellent.
I placed an order at 12pm. The order said it would take 20 minutes.
I left work about 5 minutes before pickup. On arrival my app shoed the order was completed!
I walked into the store, and about 8 other people were also waiting for pickup orders ahead of me. It took another 25 minutes for me to get my order! So almost 50 minutes from the time I ordered to reecveing.
Some other were waiting for almost an hour. That is unacceptable. I always have issues at this location, never any others

The waitress needs to let customers know what the upcharge costs are when the order is placed.
A regular hamburger that anywhere else would have onion without an extra charge was a real surprise. Its funny that a customer can remove items like cheese , tom but then add an onion and there's a charge, Never subtractions for what was removed!
The sweet potato fries were ridiculously small for a 1.99 upcharge.
Would like to have an offering of plain french fries without all the artifical battery tasting gloop the fries are dredged in.
Try to change the drink menu. The Peyton Manning soecial has been up forever...never a rotation for cocktail drink choices.
Front entrance is always dirty, needs sweeping atvthe very least and glass cleaned. Overall, the place is pretty run down.

This restaurant has really turned around this year. The new management has come in and really changed the atmosphere. I've also noticed improvements in the consistency and quality of the food.

I felt dismissed and discriminated against. When we went, it was $.25 wing day and I knew it was going to be busy. When we went to sit down, the server told us that they were out of bone in wings and wings and all they have was boneless and did we still want to eat there. I said that was fine. I knew it was a busy day. Well, while sitting down I kept seeing a bunch of bone in wings going to other tables. I said well maybe they ordered before I got there and didn’t think nothing of it. Well a table sat next to me and guess what they got bone in wings. I asked the server and she gave me some story. Then I asked to speak to a manager and she gave me a whole different story than the server. The manager had no empathy at all did not care that I was lied to And basically told me oh well it was busy. There’s nothing that she can do about the fact that I was lied to. Like I said, I understand if it was actually busy and they ran out of wings, but to see that they were still serving them and the table that was sat after me right next to me got bone in wings and I didn’t was not appropriate. I hate trying to use discrimination or Race against anything but me and my daughter were the only African-Americans in there and to see that other people were served bone in wings when we were told they were not any was really inappropriate. And if you were going to do that to us, why would you set a table right next to us and serve them what you told us that you did not have. The manager did not care and basically shook it off her shoulders and said oh well I’m busy and tired and I really don’t want to deal with this. She did not care or have any empathy towards what happened to me. So I would not refer this location to anyone. Megan is the manager’s name and I asked her her name because I could not believe how rude she was and just really didn’t care.
