Pickles always comes home refreshed but tired. I love that she gets the exercise she needs, especially in the summer when it’s too hot to be outside. Additionally, the team at Oro Valley have taken the time to let her warm up to them. Now she gets excited and is pulling me to the door everyday she goes.

My pups were very exhausted when they came home from their day of play, which means they had fun. And they were very friendly towards the staff which means the staff treat them well. My pups will be back very often!
Wonderful and attentive staff, the cushy floors, the cleanliness, the non-doggy air scent, clean water bowls, all the dogs, and the organization.
However, I was disappointed that the tracker DASH that I purchased was not functioning, so I was unable to see the data of how much mileage my dog did. And as of today have not heard anything about what to do with my defective tracker.

I’ve had a wonderful experience with Dogtopia. Scheduling my pets’ stays is incredibly easy through the app, which makes planning so convenient. The staff are always friendly, caring, and take excellent care of my fur babies—I know they’re in great hands every time they stay. I also love the extra services, like nail trims and treats, which make their visits even more special. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring place for their pets!

I am writing to address the handling of my recent service appointment, and I want to be absolutely clear: the way this situation was managed was unacceptable, avoidable, and far below any reasonable standard of professionalism.
When I arrived, the Madison Alabama location was closed with no notice—no phone call, text, or email. I confirmed this appointment through the app and again in person during a recent meet‑and‑greet. I booked a full month in advance. There was more than enough time to communicate any changes, yet I received nothing.
Upon arrival, I was told the building had no air conditioning in the back, that the number of animals accepted had been reduced, and that the facility was full. Ash’s confirmed suite had been given away without any notification. This is not a minor oversight—it is a complete failure in communication and operational reliability.
I also need to address the air conditioning outage directly. An environment without functioning AC is unsafe for animals. Overheating is a serious risk, especially in enclosed spaces. Dogs can experience heat stress quickly, and certain breeds, older pets, or anxious animals are even more vulnerable. The idea that Ash could have been placed in a warm, poorly ventilated area without my knowledge is unacceptable. Even if her suite had not been given away, I was provided no notice that the AC was out—meaning no one intended to inform me of the conditions my pet would be staying under. That is a fundamental breach of trust.
To make matters worse, the manager, Mena, told me it was *my responsibility* to check your social media for updates on hours. That is completely unreasonable. It is not the customer’s job to monitor your social media accounts to find out whether a confirmed reservation is still valid or whether the facility is even open. You had my phone number, email, and a confirmed booking. The responsibility to communicate changes rests entirely with your team—not with your customers.
The only person who demonstrated professionalism was the receptionist. She actively tried to help and find a solution. Instead of being supported, she was punished and sent home early. This is deeply concerning and reflects a serious issue with leadership and accountability.
Because Ash’s confirmed suite was taken without notice, she had to remain at home unsupervised. As a direct result, we now have significant damage to our home. She tore up drywall and trim, and we are facing expensive repairs that would have been entirely avoided had your team honored the reservation or communicated the issue in advance.
This situation shows a breakdown in communication, scheduling, and management responsibility. I trusted your facility with Ash’s care and made arrangements well ahead of time. The lack of notice, the unsafe conditions, the mishandling of her reservation, and the treatment of your own staff are unacceptable.
I expect a direct explanation of why I was not notified about the AC outage, how long it had been an issue, and what steps will be taken to ensure no pet owner is left uninformed about unsafe conditions in the future. I also expect clarity on how your company intends to address the financial impact caused by this failure.
You are kind to my dogs and they like being there.

Our 2nd dog is now attends and getting great attention a as 7month old puppy and our dear Angus ( who passed suddenly in April 2026) did. Angus attended from day one of Kara's operation, even during the original staff training days as a trainee dog. Staff wept as much as our family did at Angus' passing and offered our family great comfort. Staff also was as estatic as we were when our family brought a new puppy into our lives. Maeve has been as welcomed as Angus by staff and the the other Puppers in the Toy Box room
watching the dogs on the webcam made it clear that the person (with pink hair) who is out there with the dogs is ONLY there to pick up and mop up after them. When you are half a country away it makes you very nervous to see your dog getting mounted by a much larger dog over and over. Our dog came home very depressed with an upset stomach and dog poop stuck in his fur.
The staff we met were very nice and helpful so we came away with mixed feelings. Maybe remind the employees that dog owners are watching them and would appreciate more supervision.
Efficiency and quality of care.
The day care hours are amazing and it's great that the staff makes sure dogs are not in group rooms where they are uncomfortable. The webcams are also an appreciated feature.
The services are great, the people, and time and availability and all of that are incredible, unfortunately the main reason i hesitate to recommend is the cost. While I can justify the cost because of my own life and my schedule, not everyone in my life can afford or justify that to their schedule or budget.
Very friendly and reliable people who truly love dogs.

My dog has been going to Dogtopia, Bearden location for 4 yrs now. Between daily visits, overnight stays, spa days and treats, She absolutely loves it at Dogtopia. And she doesn't like very many people or situations. 💕💕💕💕💕💕 Will continue taking here for as long as i can..
