I would like to see more engagement from the staff members when they are in the Romper room.
Some dogs you can see are relaxed/resting, but many dogs are roaming around. They look like they would like to play or would like attention. The staff seems moderately interested in the dogs. Our dog is new and is still uncertain. It would help if staff paid him a little attention with a pet here there to make him feel more reassured. I know he would like to play, but when I see a little playfulness in other dogs it seems that the staff breaks it up. Is play not encouraged?
I am on the fence about if Tanner would be happier at home or there. The only benefit he is getting from being at Dogtopia right now is that he is not in a crate for a long day. He might be more comfortable at home in his crate with someone letting him out during the day for a break.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for trusting us with Tanner, especially as he’s still new to daycare. We truly appreciate hearing your perspective.
We understand how important it is for pet parents to feel confident that their dog is comfortable, supported, and happy while in our care. In the Romper Room, our team closely supervises group dynamics to ensure a safe and positive environment for all dogs. While play is encouraged, we do intentionally manage and redirect play when it becomes overwhelming, one-sided, or unsafe—especially for newer or more hesitant pups. This can sometimes look like staff “breaking up” play, but it’s done with safety and stress-reduction in mind.
You may also notice that some dogs spend time roaming, observing, or resting rather than actively playing. That’s completely normal, particularly for dogs who are still acclimating. Engagement looks different for every dog, and not all dogs want or benefit from constant interaction. Our team is trained to read body language and provide reassurance in ways that are appropriate for the individual dog, rather than overstimulating them.
That said, we truly value your feedback about staff interaction, and we’ll be sharing it with our team as a reminder to be mindful of offering gentle reassurance—especially to newer dogs like Tanner—as they settle in.
Thank you again for your honesty and for being part of our Dogtopia family.
Clean, caring and fun for my dog
The front staff is very friendly and appear to really care about our dogs. There are a lot of dogs there having fun. We brought them several times to this location and typically the room attendants are petting dogs and interacting with them despite the large amount of dogs. The last time we were there there were very active dogs and a few that were humping each other without correction and there was on doodle that was urinating on other dogs. It was a different experience. Watching the camera the person did not seem to notice this and in the afternoon both of our dogs were together crouched in corner for over twenty minutes. Likely won’t return as we were disappointed.
Clean pleasant staff my dog seems happy.
Angie and all the girls that work at Dogtopia are the biggest dog lovers and make every dog feel welcome. I feel very assured that my dogs are in the best care while at Dogtopia and they absolutely love the interactions with all the other pups. P
Provide an outdoor area for dogs to potty especially with my dog being potty trained it’s kind of difficult to take her this location which is my closest that doesn’t have a potty area!
I would love to hear more about the activities of the day. I usually always get he had a great day and he comes home exhausted. The first time we came I received a card highlighting his day….that only happened that day.
I am not a regular customer just yet as I usually bring him once a month, but each time I have come it is always a new person working the front desk.
That I am able to do the drop in as my dog does not need to go every day or even every week. Staff is very friendly. My dog loves to go there.
We love the friendly, kind, super competent & attentive staff. We know Ralphie is in good hands when we leave him at daycare & boarding with dogtopia. Ralphie loses his mind - and tail - with excitement any time we pull into the parking lot & he knows we are there! Thank you all so much!
Always great
We are new to Dogtopia, and our pup Tilly seems happy to be there. The facility is clean and well maintained, the offerings of fun treats and photos is a great extra touch, and Tilly has a smile on her face when we pick her up.
Friendly accommodating staff
It’s a safe place for my dog to play and get exercise instead of being cooped up in a crate at home during the day
Better communication, more friendly attitude. I stood in the office for few minutes two people behind the desk did not acknowledge me and walked to the office without saying anything needles to say was very awkward
Lovely staff! Our pup is always kindly treated. Thank you!
They care for the dogs. My dog loves to go there. I believe she is safe and in good hands.
I love all the extra activities that they can participate in and the pictures I get are really good.
I really love being able to contribute to the training of Service dogs .
All staff members are kind, helpful, and treat my dog with great care. I have not had one negative interaction with any employees. My dog loves going there.
My only issue is that on a few rare occasions, I am charged the wrong fee. However, they are quick to fix it!
Flexible options for dog daycare, very nice staff. Reasonable rates
Nation wide and when traveling is so easy to find a place so our dog can enjoy the company of other dogs. The personnel are always great
Website updates on when you’re open. It just reflects normal hours, not closures due to weather or holidays.
Convenience and staff
Everyone at Dogtopia is truly a "dog person." They greet Ruby with open arms and big smiles. My dog considers it a treat to spend the day there. As soon as we get to the lobby she starts scratching at the playroom door to get to her besties!
Staff is super friendly and attentive to your dog. You know they’re in good hands the entire time.
Friendly and caring
More outside time!!
We are new customers, but as of now we are very impressed with the customer service!
