Very pleased with care given at ER. Second time to use your ER and it's now our first choice.
Registration at the front desk was fast and efficient. I was taken back to the prep area quickly and my prep started. The nurses were all very nice and helpful and kept me posted about my surgery and kept things moving.

The doctor was very nice. The first nurse who brought me to my room kept cutting me off. I couldn't get a word in. I didn't get a copy of my x-ray I had to solely rely on heresay.
Marty was very nice person (duty nurse) and took care of me well. People like Marty makes things better. Way to go sir.

Make sure at discharge all things are communicated for recovery like when a nerve block will wear off. I ended up calling my Dr the next day because I couldn’t move or feel my toes. It May just be easier to tell the person that came with you for sure. Before you go back to get the block and have surgery. I was just very concerned 12 hours after recovery I still didn’t feel my toes nor could I move them and I could when I left the hospital. Come to find out I was given another nerve block at the surgery for pain and it hadn’t taken fully effect by the time I left the hospital. I feel this is maybe the responsibility of the anesthesiologist to make sure you know. I feel most have been slaking in communication. I use to get a call the day before from them. They also seem a little arrogant when you do see them. Maybe over all the anthologist need to work on patient communication and bedside manner.
Overall everything was good and care was very good. I was just worried for a reason that could be avoided.

The web site could be more straightforward. Although it says Medicare is accepted, once I arrived I was notified the doctors may or may not be affiliated with the Baylor network and thus may not accept Medicare. Also I thought this facility would have access to my Baylor medical records since I'm in their system, but that's not the case. So bottom line my whole reason for choosing this facility was my assumption with the Baylor affiliation, and that Medicare would be accepted, but as it turns out I could have gone anywhere else.
My checkout was rushed & incomplete in my estimation. The doctor I saw didn’t know me at all. Never checked my knee out-asked me if I had past the therapy test, listened to my heart-that’s it.
Never got my pain under control. Only one nurse helped me make the pain subside & it was not addressed before I left.
The nurse left the IV in my arm-had to take it out at home. Very disappointed.
It was Saturday-everyone had gone home.
Everything went really smoothly. Everyone was really pleasant.
