Concierge and check in service e very friendly and helpful. Concierge showed care for me while waiiing for my procedure.
My Nora’s and other staff throughout the entire process were amazing! All very caring.
Room was very nice for my overnight stay!
Great job! Thank you!
I let them know I am allergic to a lot of stuff. I told the anesthesiologist that I didn’t want pain medicine or nausea medicine. He didn’t give me the nausea medicine which was good but when I got the report I found out why I was so groggy for 3 days. They drugged me up heavily.
They said that my husband had the whole staff on edge because he wanted to be in the procedure room which was not true. I asked if my husband could be waiting for me when I got out of the procedure room and in to the recovery room and they said yes. The anesthesiologist said I would be awake when I reached the recovery room but I was not since they insisted on giving me general anesthesia. I’ve had bad experiences in the past and this time was no better. I woke up about five to ten minutes after being brought into recovery 2 area. And I asked why my throat was hurting so bad to swallow and the nurse just walked out. No answer. Also when I got the bill/medical records I found out they had to give me breathing meds. Which they did not relay any of this to my husband.
Then at the end I was ready to go home and I know it’s hospital procedure so I got into the wheelchair but I didn’t want my husband to leave me. So I got up and he helped me walk to the handicapped spot right in front of the hospital. Why couldn’t they just roll me over there and let out there.
Basically between the anesthesiologist telling me that I would be awake right after the procedure was done and thinking I needed all the drugs in a system that doesn’t even take over the counter meds unless I have to. And the fact that I told them it felt like I was having an allergic reaction to medication they gave me. In which they excused it as it was nervousness. Then me being groggy for 3 days after the procedure. We had told him that I don’t do well with anesthesia. So I asked to give me the least as possible. But boy howdy
they did the complete opposite. I need to know if I had a reaction to anything so I can put that on my list of things I can not have. And the nurses just walking away when I asked why my throat was so sore. They could have said it is because the anesthesia or that because the air difference causes that and it will go away soon. Or at least something instead of just walking away.
And getting the bill that said I owe 13,000 dollars for the procedure after I was told it was $1044 that is ridiculous. I looked at what my insurance said I should owe. It was nowhere close to that.
Everyone was very helpful and friendly. My procedure went very smoothly from check in to discharge. My husband says the hamburger in the cafe was delicious!
They did a great job !
