Everything went very smoothly and everyone was very nice. This was my second surgery at the frisco location and I would definitely use again if necessary.
The medical staff was very professional, and I appreciate my doctor was in network with my insurance there in addition to the facility. I appreciate that I could get xylocaine with the hand IV.

The nurses were great. This rating is solely based on the interest the doctors have in this hospital. Because this is a doctor’s owned hospital, the doctors have high interest in its success. Because of this, hospital acquired infections are a big concern. I had a catheter during my delivery. Went home- went to my follow up appointment and told my doctor I was having burning. I asked if it could be a urinary tract infection from the catheter. Because I don’t usually get urinary tract infections, I wasn’t sure how they felt. My doctor convinced me it was just swelling and irritation from the catheter I had had. She told me that if I still had discomfort in a week and a half (two weeks after my hospital stay) to come back and she would prescribe something.
The next several days got worse. It was so painful, but I’d call and they’d say it was just swelling and to call in a few days if it doesn’t get better.
After losing sleep for almost a week, I called teledoc and was immediately prescribed something. My symptoms started clearing up right away.
I was then told- of course the doctor wanted you to wait two weeks before prescribing you anything. If it happens in that two week span, it’s considered a HAC. I hadn’t thought of that, and then I got mad. My doctor was willing to let me go on with a UTI so the hospital wouldn’t get a HAC on the record. Because of that, I won’t ever go to any hospital where my doctor has THAT much interest in the success of the hospital itself. It was the most uncomfortable week and a half before I finally had to see someone else to get a prescription for a UTI. On top of all of that- I was also taking care of my newborn. I wasn’t properly taken care of all because of the interest my doctor had in the hospital’s numbers.

Excellent staff! I had a fine time because of the staff and my physician, Dr Burleson. Is it odd for a colonoscopy patient to state they had a fine time because of the staff and MD? Perhaps…. The staff made the difference. Well and truly done.
