Having trawled several bike shops for assistance I had success with Trek Bike Bristol.
I was after increasing the hill climbing gears on my Trek Domane SL6. Luckily Charlie and Rob liked a challenge and after an hour or so checking compatibility and availability we had a solution. The parts were ordered, updates were received and within a couple of weeks I have a road bike with a 31:36 climbing gear ratio. (I can't believe this isn't a standard upgrade for cyclists with small thighs like me wishing to tackle the steep ramps in Cornwall, Devon and Wales on a road bike; but what do I know?)
Anyway I couldn't be happier with the service from Trek Bike. Great personal service and so much better than 'you should buy a gravel bike or train harder' advice I got from elsewhere.

The people that work here could not be more helpful. I used my Cycle to Work voucher here because I wanted a physical shop for after care with buying an expensive bike. They have been top notch ever since. They really go out of their way to help you out: whether it is a £5 part you are after or a new bike. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
