We were really impressed with the staff. We received such a warm welcome, and everything was clearly explained — what needed to be done and how much it would cost. The walk-in service is a big convenience, and we appreciated getting a message as soon as the bike was ready.
The coffee shop is another great bonus. Being able to relax with a lovely drink and some cake made the whole experience even better.

The store is next to my office - I often wonder round to kill some time/take a break. Always seems welcoming and chilled.
I am new to cycling - I know nothing - but a regular runner and swimmer. A mate persuaded me to sign up for a 70.3 iron man - hence the need for a bike. Also want to use to commute.
So I bought a friend who knows her bikes/keen cyclist.
Served by Hugo. He quickly steered me to a bike - having asked what I wanted to do & listened to my response. He explained clearly why he thought that this was the best bike given my needs.
He handled well the fact that I knew nothing and my friend knew a great deal about bikes - speaking to / involving both of us throughout.
He recommended shoes, pedals helmet, shorts etc. all based on advice rather than the heavy sell.
Bought through cycle to work scheme - which he explained clearly.

Straightforward and honest advice, prepared to listen to my concerns and then propose an answer. Work was scheduled and carried out as specified with no fuss. The results look good so far.
If I am honest I ended up paying more than I anticipated, but that was down to me not really understanding what was wrong and also the fact that we included a service which we had not planned for but which has greatly improved the bike.
The guys are fully commited to what they do and seem to take real pride in their work. Finally the coffee and cakes looked great just wish I had the time to sample.
