Everyone at Dogtopia is so friendly and you can tell they love dogs. Diamond loves going there and loves the people! They really make her feel special!.
I love everything about Dogtopia. My dog, Stella, was a 2 year old rescue from Georgia, who was terrified of everything and everybody. She hated her crate at my apartment and cried her heart out (upsetting the neighbors) when I attempted to crate train her. I was sure that she would FAIL her meet and greet at Dogtopia in Fairfield, Ct. I was as nervous as if she was my toddler. She passed. She did not engage with the other dogs, only followed the adults walking around. And guess what? The adults loved her, and made me and Stella feel like a million dollars every time I dropped her off and picked her up. When Stella walks in, the Caregivers make such a fuss over her and both of us feel like a million dollars!! Success! Name removed and Stella

Pippa has been going to dogtopia since she was 6 months old and she is almost 7 years now. Staff is always great and incredibly trustworthy! We love dogtopia.
Socialization
I'm genuinely disappointed in the communication or lack thereof. I have a rescue dog I brought in to try and get him socialized and to get some energy out. I've consistently checked in regarding his behavior because again, he's a rescue and I want to know if there are issues that need to be addressed. I've been told repeatedly that he's great. I started noticing every time I checked the camera he was in a crate. I asked and again was told he was fine, just a little overexcited. Last week (10/24) a handler was rough with him and today (10/28) I noticed that he had been in a crate for over an hour so I called to ask why and was told he's been snapping at all the dogs getting in his space. I've never been told this previously and I'm upset because I want to work on correcting this behavior and at rhe very least, I could keep him in a crate all day at home for free. While he was crated today there was another dog constantly barking in his face with minimal to no correction for that dog. I know my little dog isn't perfect and I'll always be the first to admit that, but the favoritism is blatant and the communication is lacking.

I love that staff seem enthusiastic about their jobs and excited to see my pup. The facility is very clean, does not smell like urine and my pup smells nice when I pick them up.

The facilities are good and the staff was very loving towards the dogs. My issue is with the lack of transparency with pricing. When I signed up for an overnight the website said it’s was starting at 73. When I went to the meet and greet they only asked what time I wanted to drop off and pick up and they didn’t share anything about pricing or how time of pick up impacts this so I called back before the overnight to confirm and all I was told is an overnight is 93 if you aren’t enrolled. Then when we picked up they at first charged us for two days of daycare. They fixed this but still charged for one day of daycare. I asked why and they said if the dog isn’t picked up by one hour after opening they charge for this. But I don’t see anything about this on the website nor was this shared at the meet and greet or when I called. I also don’t see anything on my app. It said I was scheduled for pick up at 4pm and it just said it was an overnight. While I do feel that the operations in terms of how the dogs are treated and cared for is strong the management needs to be more transparent with pricing up front. In this economy people need to know their budget and costs ahead of time . Unexpected charges can cause trust to be broken with companies. This is why I would not recommend unless this is remedied.
Everyone was so kind! They explained the process so well and it was really nice to be able to watch my pup be introduced to the pack. They clearly have a lot of love for their animals which made me feel super comfortable leaving my boy there to play.
It’s quiet unlike other doggy daycares. My dog clearly loves the staff and they love her too. They took good care of her on overnights as well.

The staff is so friendly and very good with the dogs - they are caring, kind and hard working. Everyone has a smile on their face when we drop our dog off. Michael the manger is wonderful and our dog loves him. We feel such peace of mind dropping our dog off at Dogtopia.
The staff is extremely loving and provide the best level of care for my dog. They were patient and willing to work with a very sensitive a a stubborn with my French Bulldog when she first started coming and I can tell that they genuinely care about all the dogs in their care.

Staff is responsive to my inquiries whether it is scheduling doggie daycare, lunch for Birdie, or boarding, they respond within minutes freeing up my time to move throughout my busy workday without worrying over my my dog’s needs.
Always taking good care of my dogs. The employees and manager are so friendly, remember me and always have my dogs best interest in mind. My Doberman is more social and less timid and reactive now after his time at dogtopia. I know the dogs will be safe and looked after.
