I like that I was able to purchase, in near new condition, a bicycle that I'd been interested in for a couple of years but that Trek no longer produces - a 2023 Trek District 4. I appreciate that my order was processed and shipped very quickly. The shipping carton arrived with a number of large holes punched in it (apparently from rough or careless handling during transport) but, that would appear to be the responsibility of the shipping company and not Trek. Fortunately, the bike did not show shipping damage, but it did have a misaligned rear fender and rear rack and an overtensioned carbon drive belt. These errors did not prevent me from using the bike and since I had the time, tools and knowledge to correct the issues myself I did not have to visit a Trek dealer have adjustments made. It's a beautiful bike and I look forward to using it as much as possible for as long as possible.
