The process was quick and easy and I like the idea of the Red Barn program. I will say there was a problem with the bike when I put it together. A 3-4 inch section of the front brake disc was bent and would drag and make noise when the wheel rotated. I thought perhaps the bike was sent back by an original owner, but this was not checked by Red Barn for resale. I was satisfied enough with the price that I ordered a new disc and will replace it myself.

The attention to some details. I have a friend that bought 2023 Trek Fuel and I recently bought a 2025 Specialized Stumpjumper. Just talking about opening the package from Trek versus the Specialized theres a huge difference. I genuinely felt excited for my friend opening and seeing his Trek Fuel. The box says “Happy Bike Day”. Footsteps to do the happy dance. All the illustrations in it. I thought that was great and it brought me joy for him. Even how it came with Tools with the set tork for each component. I thought that was especialy great. My Specialized came with no tools. No happy dance. No illustrations on the inside of the box. No tools. It even required the brakes to have the air removed out of the system. Bi disappointment.
Both bikes share the shimano Deore drive train and yet the Trek felt so much better on the trail.
My son also has a Marlin 5 and the quality of that bike compared to his schwinn that he had it light years apart. I have nothing but good things to say about Trek.

I like the variety of parts, new and old . My bike is a 2015 Fuel EX 7 29er. I have 30,000 miles on it. Up grades are much cheaper than a new bike. I love the Rail E-bike but it’s all about the price. I try to stay with genuine trek parts. For a bike that’s 11 years old , you still offer the parts I need . To me that says a lot. Thank you for your dedication to people like me. I know the industry is taking a hit but I’m still with ya. Listen to the people and adjust accordingly. We deserve the best and to me that is Trek.
I was in a terrible accident when kids on a lime e bike lost control and rammed into me. I had to go to the ER and it was absolutely horrifying. I took the bike to a mechanic months later after healing and he said I am lucky I had a trek bike. My bike would have been totaled. I am grateful for Trek and grateful it was easy to order the parts I needed from the website.
