The agent knew what I wanted. I tried to identify my order by giving him my credit card number, but he said that he couldn't take it for security reasons. When I said that I guess I'm out of luck, he told me to stand by, and then he searched for the order and found it! He also recognized that I had already paid for the order and didn't charge me for it. When I took my bike to REI to get the computer on my bike working (that was the point of all this, since it had failed to reset after a ride), it worked. I can now ride my bike without having to go through a convoluted exercise to compute my average ride speed each time I ride.
