Well I have been a Trek client for over 15 years. Went thru two Boone CX bikes in their early rendition models and broke both-super light but too fragile. Trek stood behind and have another Boone CX in my quiver- rock solid ride. Ironically I was on that bike 3 weeks ago and had a medical situation where I blacked out while riding. Crash was not good. Three displaced broken ribs💬however my Bontrager MIPS helmet probably saved my life Side crushed but no concussion issues (I am a former NFL wide receiver and bumping into a wall to hard could cause concussion feelings).

To all that may read this...purchase the best helmet you can afford. Replace if they are older than two years. Technology has vastly advanced. Thank you Trek. Will be riding again soon with a new Trek/Bontrager helmet already delivered and awaiting my head to put it on.
