I had a great experience at Freewheel. I was able to test out the bikes to get the correct size. The staff was helpful with finding the color that I wanted and communicating when I might expect that bike to be available. When I picked up the bike they were careful to explain how to set the brakes and what I should plan on for maintenance in the next year.

Wow. exactly what I wanted in a recumbent trike right in my back yard! I have been doing national research on my own for 8 months.

Chris knew every single option that would work and BOOM. I bought some lights, flags, mirrors and I have my dream bike. Did I mention it’s electric!!!!!!!!!

I recently brought my fatbike in for a tune up and cleaning; I had been having issues with shifting for a while that were plaguing my
Riding. Shortly before this visit, I also stopped by hoping to check out some pogies. During the initial visit, the staff member working near the front was very helpful and brought me to the pogie selection, and provided helpful insight citing personal experience. With his help, I found the best option and am very pleased with my purchase. I mentioned the need for a tune up, and he encouraged me to bring my bike in.

Days later when I finally brought my bike in, a different staff member inspected it immediately and Listened well to my concerns. Within 5 mins, he determined my cassette and chain were worn out, as well as a shift cable that was overly stiff. He provided a quote and timeframe for repairs, while also pricing out the most cost effective way to write up the work order.

To my surprise, the repairs were completed 2-3 days ahead of schedule and $30-$40 cheaper than anticipated.

In addition, I had a rear pannier rack previously installed to my bike. The mechanic found an alternative way to mount the rack that made it more rigid / secure, and corrected this at no additional charge! Needless to say, i’m super stoked with the service! Thanks to the team at Freewheel Bloomington! This is the best my bike has looked or felt since I’ve owned it
