It's the service that I really like.
Phenomenal staff of friendly, helpful and knowledgeable people who love cycling and want others to enjoy it as well. Small business that goes the extra mile to ensure satisfied customers - went in for a bike for my wife, came back the following week and bought a new one for myself, too! Exactly the neighborhood shop I always wanted in my hometown that shows the cool vibe and friendly atmosphere of Reston. We plan to stop in often to enjoy the coffee and beverages and to just say Hi!

Great shop! Service is done correctly and the pricing is reasonable.
I came in for a couple of help fix-its, a freewheel removal and a clipless pedal repair. Both easy stuff for which I did not have the right tools. Nathan fixed things right up and while I was waiting there was so much stuff hanging on the walls that I had not seen before (all my bikes are from the 1970s and 1980s) that I just HAD to buy something: a multitool which is exactly what I was looking for, and some handlebar tape that spared me from researching on Amazon. Oh, yes, the iced tea was wonderful as well. Great experience!
Charged me over $250 an hour to wrap handlebars and did not state the cost up front. Sure it only took 10 minutes, but why not just charge me a general labor rate?? Complete rip off, would have done it myself if I was told up front how much it cost. 👎🏼
The Bike Lane is a great company! Definitely looking forward to buying future accessories and new bikes in the years to come! Great staff, etc.. Can’t say enough good about them!

I"m a big fan of Trek, and The Bike Lane has an awesome selection. Super knowledgeable sales reps and mechanics, the beer is delicious and the bar tenders bring a smile to your face! I think Helwig is literally the best NE Hazy I've had!
