Served very quickly by a knowledgeable mechanic who gave me a quick estimate of what needed to be done, how much it would cost, and when I could expect my bike back. I don't know what else you can ask for.

When I originally spoke to someone on the phone, they had told me that the bike would be shipped and assembled by a certain date. When the time came around, it was not ready, and to be fair, the distributor didn't ship on time, which lead to delays. I got the bike about a week or so after the original date I was told.
I would say though, that any sort of additional discount on equipment/accessories (I bought pedals while I was at the shop picking the bike up) or gesture similar to that would have made me feel better about the purchasing experience.
Everything besides that was a good experience. I walked out of the shop with the assembled bike and the back tire was off center leading to the back tire not spinning, came back in to the shop and they fixed it on the spot as well.
Overall, it was a solid experience, I guess I just expected a little bit more from the lead up to picking up the bike.

I came by the shop Saturday to pick up my layaway items and have your mechanic team look at my rocketship's rear derailleur that broke in the morning. I was super impressed by all your team is doing to make the shop safe through social distancing. Spacing people on the dots, everyone wearing masks, greeting customers outside and controlling traffic in the store... they all made me feel very, very safe. My wife is super high risk, but given your demonstrated attention to safety she said I'm allowed to keep shopping at The Bike Lane.
By the way, Nathan did an awesome job with my derailleur. He fixed it quickly and it works like a champ now!

You are a down to earth unpretentious store providing fast focused service. I had previously taken my bike to another bike store and was told I would have to leave the bike with them for over 2 1/2 weeks before they could take a look at it. Your technician looked at my bike and told me he could do the adjustments I was looking to have done in 15 minutes. He actually beat that time and the bike works perfectly.

I know this is in the period of Covid (July 9) but I had a fairly negative experience. I showed up about 2 pm on a Thursday to try to drop off my bike for maintenance or just have someone give me very brief advice. There are signs "Please do not enter - wait outside on one of the circles and someone will be with you". There was no one else waiting. So I stood just outside the door where the circle nearest the door indicated. At least 3 or 4 different employees walked right past me. I guess it wasn't their job. After a loooong time, 10-15 minutes, a guy did come out and said "I'll try to get a maintenance guy". It was kind of weird because I could see in the store and there were very few customers, maybe 3 or 4, and I could count maybe 7 or 8 employees, and those were just the ones I could see. Another good 10 minutes passed. It was getting hot (this was in full sun), so I finally just stepped inside the door with my bike. Again, no one paid me any attention. I waited another good number of minutes and finally just said screw it and walked over to the Maintenance area. One of the maintenance guys just said "Hi what can I do for you?" So it seemed like I waited for 30 minutes for no real reason, I should have just walked in and gone to the Maint area right from the start.. Anyway, they did fix the bike, but the whole procedure for attending to a waiting customer was pretty bad. I know you are busy, but come on.
