I've been prepping for a 55-mile bike tour on Sept 13th, and my [Bike Lane] bike needed work. In fact, it had a flat rear tire following a 46-mile ride from Sunday the 30th. I called ahead on Wednesday 9/2 to make/verify arrangements, and on Thursday 9/3 I got in line around 1 PM. I got into the [Springfield] store around 1:30 and got waited-on almost immediately. I was told service could be either while I waited, or I could come back after getting a text msg. Since I hadn't had lunch yet, I chose the latter option. My bike needed a chain, bar tape, inner tubes, and a detailed check-over to be ready for some Labor Day weekend riding, and the 55-mile event 10 days hence. Derrick was my technician, and he's helped me before.
Given all the hassles we all currently have to go through with challenges presented by the CCP Virus, what with masks, changed business hours, new policies and procedures, turnaround time was simply amazing. I live about 10-15 mins away, and I got the text that the bike was ready (in less than an hour) while I was still at-home getting lunch! According to the paperwork, service was actually scheduled to be finished around 7 PM on 9/4, but I was able to pick up the bike just before 4 PM that day. And yes, everything looks and feels great.
So once again, thank you all very much for the outstanding service and work!
Great customer service
Bike Lane customer service is outstanding. The sales reps are extremely knowledgeable.
The quality.
Friendly and knowledgeable sales people and mechanics. Very quick turn around on repairs.
Great service, very timely, always helpful.
Friendly and helpful staff!
Nice selection of accessories and friendly staff.
Great selection, prices, and service.
Poor customer service and undependable overall service.
Extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
Each interaction I've had with staff at the Bike Lane has been excellent. Everyone is helpful and they never made me feel like a dummy because I have no clue about bikes other than how to ride 'em. ;-P
I stopped going anywhere else for service etc. (REI) because I prefer to support this local shop.
Thanks for hooking up my new bike. See ya for a tune up soon.
Very knowledgeable, efficient, technically competent, fairly priced. Everything you want to have in a vendor of parts and services. Highly recommended!
Tom was very knowledgeable and very helpful.
Service was great! Helped me out a lot
I had bearings replaced in bottom bracket. The problem should have been detected when I complained about chain rubbing derailleur 3 months earlier (for $35 I was told derailleur is aligned properly, no apparent attempt to figure out why I heard noise).
I dropped off / picked up bike last Thursday after bearings and brake pads replacement. I rode on Sunday - derailleur and chain are rubbing when in lower gears! ANNOYING!

Great customer service.
Always ready to help
Thanks
I like the friendly staff and helpful technicians. I would give a 10, except that several items I've looked for recently haven't been in stock--although I was able to order them for pickup later.
Great Staff, good service, both in sales and service.
You had the bike I want, and bagels and beer as I waited for you to check it out. A very nice experience.
you always give great expert advice for bike fitting, so the customer is happy after the sale.
Great service. Helped me get the bike and gear I needed. And being able to celebrate with a beer was an added bonus.
Excellent customer service! So friendly and helpful!
The employees are very professional and know how to give just the right advice! Love the store in Reston!
Nice job with physical distancing, helping my daughter find a bike that she loves
I have been going to your store for years - I bought my last bike from you - I like the service I get - however, on my last visit I requested an estimate on 3 things: new cables, annual service, and a new derailleur - instead, the mechanic gave me an estimate on 5 things, including new tires and new tape for my handlebars - I would appreciate next time if your mechanics would provide me with an estimate based on what I actually asked for.
Also, your employees seemed to be more lackadaisical this time about maintaining social distance - at one point I found myself backing away repeatedly as a couple of your employees ignored the distance between us so that they could get from point A to point B - please, some of us are over 60, and so are more susceptible to the virus than younger people - I have been avoiding going to most stores precisely because I notice this behavior.
Otherwise, you did a great job on my bike, and even finished it a week earlier than promised. I was able to get a good ride in today.
Repair tech - a hs kid, was super knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Really pleased with that.
Everyone else in the store was borderline rude, like they were doing me a favor. Very odd treatment and atmosphere.
Great communication during repair process. Knowledgeable.
Quality products and a team that understands them and can make valuable suggestions/recommendations.

Knowledgeable, friendly, willing to work with everyone from kids to dedicated racers to grocery shopping elders. If you don’t have a part, happy to order it to put you back on the trail. And they know the local riding paths, having been on them personally.
