Adam was super helpful in guiding me to buying my first bike. He asked the right questions to understand what kind of bike would be a good fit for me based on my experience, interests, etc. and then walked me through his recommendations. Being new to biking and not having much knowledge on bikes, Adam simplified things so I could easily understand the pros and cons of the various bike models. The entire experience was great and I'll definitely be going back to The Bike Lane for all my biking needs. The shop has great vibe and they make their own beer.

Our young sales rep was not knowledgeable about the bike he was about to sell us. I had reservations about the 24" Trek that we were going to buy for our 11-year-old, as I thought it looked like the right bike for him for this spring/summer, but it looked like the bike would be too small for him by next year. The sales rep assured us that the bike would be able to last him for 2-3 years even though the seat was raised up quite high. Even though I was uneasy, I did not pursue a second opinion, as I trusted that this employee knew his product and what would be most suitable for clientele in different life stages.
As we took it to the front to purchase it, (unprompted) another employee stopped us from buying it and told us that the bike is the right size for "right now" but that our son doesn't have any room to grow with it, as it's maxed out. If it wasn't for serendipity that this more knowledgeable employee was there at the right place/time, we would've purchased the wrong size bike for our son and wasted money for a bike that would only last a year, if that.

The staff was awesome - super friendly and helpful in both buying a new bike (back ordered til the fall) and in servicing an old bike to tide us over until the new bike gets in.
We just really like having a local bike shop with folks that know bikes and help us keep them running in tip top shape.

The store was very well maintained. Everyone on the staff was helpful and eager to assist customers. I was there Saturday the 6th to pick up a Trex Marlin 5 around 11. The guy that helped me out was super helpful, answered all my questions, and made sure I had everything i need before leaving the store. He also noticed that I was wearing a lot of gray so he pulled a gray helmet out from the back for me to try that was on display. That was awesome cause I loved that color more than the ones on the wall
