I stopped by Jay’s Bike Shop in Yorba Linda about 45 minutes before closing, hoping to get my daughter’s bike repaired for “Bike to School Day” the next morning. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much that late in the day — maybe to be turned away or told to come back another time. But instead, I was met with kindness, professionalism, and true generosity.
Both gentlemen working that evening were absolutely outstanding. Not only did they welcome me in without hesitation, but they also went above and beyond to make sure the bike was in perfect shape for the next day. They didn’t rush through it or try to sell me anything unnecessary. They genuinely cared, took the time to explain what they were doing, and even made sure everything was safe and comfortable for my daughter. Their knowledge, customer service, and attitude were top-notch.
I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I left the shop feeling so grateful and impressed that I had to share. These guys deserve recognition. It’s refreshing to see a small business that truly values people and goes the extra mile. Jay’s Bike Shop has definitely earned my respect — and my repeat business. If you’re looking for quality service, honest work, and genuinely good people, this is the place to go.
Efficient, pleasant, checked out the issue I described and confirmed it without pushing any additional services etc. Also much appreciated the complete lack of condescension to a person who is older and a female. I have frequently been treated as though I was stupid or mildly demented.

I came in with a pretty specific and tricky request—looking for a stem with some unusual specs. From the moment I walked in, I was helped right away. I wish I remembered the name of the woman who assisted me because she was amazing. She went above and beyond searching for the part. At one point, it seemed like I was out of luck, and I had already made it to the parking lot when she came running out—she’d found it! So rad. I had searched online and visited two other shops with no luck. I was seriously stoked. I’ll definitely be back—100%!
