I. Martin has been my go-to bike shop for three decades and I still get a thrill every time I step through the door! They do a fantastic job curating the best available bikes and accessories and the service department is top notch. Staff is always helpful, offering deep bike wisdom hard earned on the roads and trails. Ranks with Backbone Trail and the Hollywood Bowl as my gold-silver-bronze favorite places in Los Angeles.

You have been there throughout the pandemic, no easy task. Does this say something about reliability?
Also, Wilber once again has come through for us. Our bikes mean a lot to us and he knows that and takes good care of them for us. He's a treasure alright.

Service and Sales are Top Notch, I have had my old bike serviced there repeatedly and it was always done quickly and done to perfection. Edgar is the best mechanic. I recently purchased a new bike from them and Greg was terrific through the whole process.

Include entry level road and mountain bikes. Give the same service for entry level bikes as you do for us avid cyclists! That's all, we have to sometimes hold the novice hands. Whereas advance roadies we know what we want! Also, my comrades have to be nicer to beginners. I know it's hard for them. Perhaps more clinic's for rookie cyclist. Don't let us ride with them(novice) unless you know that the (we/us)advance riders have a great attitude and helpful to new riders. We have to stride to encourage new and returning riders to be courteous to all riders.

What is going on with reduced hours? Had to skip Helen's in Santa Monica and then wait at I Martin closer to home. Negative impression given by staff who explained this was their only lunch break and that I should be happy to wait with my two young kids. Five people at a time in the store? And 15 minutes maximum to test and buy a bike? Long line of unhappy people in both parking lots. Hope you are able to resolve Jay. Will shop elsewhere for now.
Tough to get into the store right now. Five at a time does not seem like very much for such a big space. Along with being closed 2 days a week and being open for just 6 or so hours a day makesone reluctant to even try to come in.
