The staff at Helen’s Cycles in Manhattan Beach are knowledgeable, pleasant and helped me pick the perfect bike for me! After visiting other bike shops in the area I chose Helen’s Cycles & will go to them for all my tuneups and anything else bike related.
Great customer service. Would like to see more brands of bikes but I realize no store can carry all manufacturers

Just a few observations:
Everybody is always in a rush. Sometimes if you did a better job of listening and picking up ques from a customer your sales in high end bikes may go up. I have gone in several times recently to pick up accessories but would have liked to have been shown several of your top e-bikes. I moved on because it became a hassle.
Most bike shops order things not in stock, at times I have been told: We don't carry that. I purchased Assiamo power pedals elsewhere. I recently inquired about Garmin Vector SPD power pedals, we don't carry that.
Monty is the go to guy for myself and all my friends. If he is busy or out no one else seems to know. He needs a good backup.
I recently bought a Bontrager bike pump at the recommendation of a store salesman, it is worthless. My old Surfas pump I was replacing out performed it, even though it was 15 years old.
So happy that you guys were able to ship my bike across the country. It's impossible to find a quality bike here. Staff was amazingly friendly, professional and prompt! Will buy my wife's bike from you as soon as you get it in stock.

You didn't offer me the option of getting a kickstand. Some bicycle shops will give you a free kickstand when you purchase from them.

Fantastic service - came in to get new pedals and brought my bike in as one of the pedals couldn't be removed. They got it off and retapped the holes as they were damaged all at no charge!

I ordered some additional parts with my bike and they installed them without any additional cost. Very kind of them. I also managed to find a bike that had been sold out in many others stores. Great selection and excellent customer service.

Very efficient service albeit my experience was mostly online. I purchased my bicycle through the website so I had no direct interaction with the sales person and only brief exchange with personnel who handed the bike to me at pick-up. Bradley made sure to have pedals I'd ordered installed quickly as they weren't already done when I'd arrived. After proof of ID and a quick transaction to pay for the pedals I was in and out within 10 minutes. One other comment; I would have liked a proper fitting or assist with same but that was not offered to me - I didn't think to ask at the time. Anyway, I intend to inquire about whether or not Helen's offers a fitting with the purchase of a new bike and any other service - if so I'll probably set up an appointment to do the fitting as I live a distance from the shop.
Overall a good experience. I was mostly pleased to find the actual brand, model, color and size road bike I had been seeking for over a month.
Superb service--friendly staff, excellent advice from staff, meticulous care in repair work, and very transparent about expected time for repairs. Also has a very nice neighborly vibe overall. Highly recommended.
