The price quoted for the tune up + parts replacement was too high for me, so I retrieved my bike without executing any work. But what really drove this low score and my low likelihood of recommending Bicycle Habitat is that I was charged an "estimate fee" that was not disclosed to me when I dropped off my bike. I was told to leave the bike and that I'd get an email with a quote for what needed to be done, which I thought was convenient. But at no point did anyone share that the estimate fee was being incurred.

Service was quick and friendly. My bottom bracket had snapped (the thing that connects the pedals thru the frame), and the techs were able to install a new one right then. Took maybe 15 minutes.
No comparison! Hands down you guys are the best in Brooklyn. I've been to 2 establishments in Brooklyn and 1 in NYC. I've only had the pleasure of having my bicycles serviced at only 2. 1 in Rockaway Beach, Queens and you guys here in Brooklyn!
