The service and parts required to repaired my bike were thoroughly explained to me. I was very confident in the advice I was given regarding what service could be put off for a while, and what was most important to take of now.

Super friendly and helpful technicians
After replacing my flat tire I asked follow up questions that resulted in the technician realizing the rim tape should also be replaced. They didn't provide any helpful information without me asking for it and I wouldn't know what was caused the flat tube. If there was a closer bike shop near me I would go there instead.

Excellent service as usual. Wasn't sure if the work on my bike would be complete for my weekly commute but Mike pulled through for me again and got me biking the next day.
Ps. The bike is so smooth. I cut two minutes off my commute time.

The service is terrific and I found everything I needed. Erickson the mechanic helped me out of a bind in about 5 minutes time yesterday when he spotted a cable rubbing on my tire. Great work! And the geek squad was able to fix my friend's odometer miraculously.

They’ve taken great care of my bike over the years. They are knowledgeable and kind. I’ve never felt pushed or oversold on things I don’t need. Services have always been completed within a few days which is great so I can get back to cycling!
It’s definitely a bike shop run by people who bike themselves and love bikes and it shows. Matt was particularly kind and helpful especially on very busy afternoon where he could have easily rushed through everything to get to the next client.
As someone who works for a musical instrument shop that both sells and services instruments, I appreciate their expertise and customer service.
I got an email that my repair was done. When I picked up the bike, the staff was running through what was done. On the list was "Surly Singulator" for 80 bucks. I said oh, so where's the singulator? In a moment it was determined that the item was back-ordered, and I would have to bring the bike back in to have it installed. So the repair was basically NOT done, as I had been told. I had to ask in order to get this information. I think the person behind the counter thought someone had told me this already but no. I think it's weird to pick up a bike when there's more work to be done on it. A simple phone call would have fixed this. I did get a phone call but it didn't mention the part being back-ordered. It was no big deal, I decided to get a refund for the singulator and take the bike. I live in Jersey City but I don't trust the bike stores here so it's not so easy to get my bike in to Chelsea. So basically, coordination/communication could be improved. But I am happy with the repair and will come back again.
