I bought my Trek Allant + from Bicycle Habitat Chelsea because of a suggestion by Matt and I have never liked a bicycle more!!! They are a great group of people. Very friendly and always helpful. I recently had an incident, a few blocks away, where my bike lock froze and I couldn’t remove my bike from the pole. I went to the bike shop to see if they could help and David walked with me all the way to my bike, in the freezing weather, and helped me unfreeze and unlock my bike. Now that is kindness and service! 👍👍

Chad was very friendly and took my repair right away. The mechanic was able to repair my broken spoke while I waited. Unfortunately, he neglected to put on my speed sensor which was taken off during the repay. I noticed this only when I got home and had to go back to the store to retrieve it.
Very helpful staff and we able to fix and replace tire while I waited.
The guys at this bicycle bicycle shop are great specially with a wheelchair tires they’re very expertise so if you ever in Brooklyn on fifth Avenue and your wheelchair have an issue with the tires so you can go check them out bicycle habitat is the name

When I picked up my bike after getting some repairs, a bicycle habitat employee noticed that the seat of my bike needed adjusting and helped me get the perfect fit. I really appreciated that additional help, on top of the quick repair job!

I would like to say that the service at Bicycle Habitat has only gotten better over the years. I ride a bike that has had many parts changed and replaced and they don't judge me for it! The staff is kind and helpful and helps me to identify what I need and take care of the repairs. I know that in the warmer months it can get very busy so I appreciate being able to come in and get same day service in the winter. Thank you!
From the first time I went to this shop I was told once a person pays cash the tax is waived. However that is not the case with Eduardo. Anytime when he tends to me he does not honor that and it's annoying. Also after my service was completed he advised I should not ride my folding bike because there's is crack at the folding frame which could split my bike in half. That made so me upset that a proper analysis was not done before the service was completed.
