Michael at the Park Slope location was amazing to work with. He made it really easy to understand why the bike and adjustments we were making was making an impact on my riding position. There's a lot to learn from him! He had a lot of patience explaining and adjusting so I could test ride multiple times.
He was super sweet and conversation was great. 2-ish hours well spent : )

The service experience can be more clearly defined for the customer. When you walk into the store, it is not always clear who is an employee and how to receive service. Where do you stand? Who do you speak to etc.

Bicycle Habitat is amazing! The employees are super friendly and knowledgeable, and they carry great products. I was helped by Jeremy, who answered all my questions and really took the time to find the best bike for me.
Bike Habitat is more than a local bike shop. It is an intitution, serving our community of cyclists for many years. They are advocates, professionals and fair. What else do you need to know?

Michael could not have been more helpful to our family and we plan to come back that's to his amazing service. We were looking into trading in two kids bikes for bigger sizes and he gave us very helpful insights into what changes the kids could expect on the bikes and what types he recommended. At that time, we were disappointed in the used options for my daughter, so decided to come back another time - only to receive an email the next day from Michael that a bike had recently been traded in that perfectly fit what we wanted. He had already put it on hold for us and we were able to pick it up the same day! He even took extra time to add new accessories to the used bikes we purchased for my kids to make them feel "new" and exciting, and helped fit my daughter for a new helmet, including explaining new helmet technology and appropriate fit. My husband and I are also considering bikes for ourselves and he made very thoughtful suggestions for a good fit for each of us, based on our size, needs, skill, and price point. I would be thrilled to recommend bicycle habitat to anyone looking for a quality bike shop with great service.
