Everything, and there's an ice cream store half a block away.
The product was exactly what I needed, the team was kind and patient. They were willing to take time and line us up with a product that fit our specific needs!! We never felt rushed or annoying, great experience!
Customer service
Your casual welcome. That things are dealt with in a low key way. That your guys want to help. They do in so in reasonable time. It always feel good to go there.
No BS and genuine enthusiasm for helping customers take care of their bikes and themselves.
I was supposed to be emailed when my online order arrived at the store for pickup. It arrived and sat in the store for to weeks without anyone notifying me. If you're no longer offering this service, you need to say so in the order confirmation.
Very informative and friendly staff and give you multiple options with the pros and cons.
I went to bicycle habitat 3 times for the same fix: a flat tire in my electric unicycle. First time it cost me 50. Second time it cost me 80. Third time it cost me 120. You guys must be thinking "This sucker is going to keep coming back anyway so let's rip him off". Well I'm not coming back and I won't recommend it to anyone.
Knowledgeable, resourceful, quick to help, expert in diagnosing problems with bikes and in proving efficient, quick service at reasonable prices. The best bike shop in the City.
quick service, they don't require a reservation and they do a super good job.
We bought a child’s bike last week. This weekend we brought it in because I was wondering about a the sound the rear cassette was making. One of the mechanics (an older man with glasses) was so rude and dismissive of us that I wanted to ask for our money back. I was really taken aback. One of your salespeople offered to get another mechanic to look at it and the second man explained that this was normal and that there were no obvious problems with the bike. He recommended we make sure to register with the manufacturer in case we needed the warranty.
That wasn’t so hard was it? Despite the good service from the rest of the team I will be very reluctant to take my business to this store knowing I could have another run in with that disrespectful oaf again.
Bike servicing was excellent, really appreciate the attention to detail.
Such helpful folks. I’ll absolutely use their services again.

Customer Service
Clear, quick, reasonable, always offers choices, no upselling
Today was the first time I had anything to do with Bicycle Habitat, and I was really, really, really happy with my experience. I was interested in the Avail Advanced 2 S, but I had a lot of questions, and I was concerned it might make my long-time back pain worse. (My previous bike, a Cannondale, had been retrofitted to keep me much more upright.) Bicycle Habitat was the closest store that had the Avail I was considering, so I called the store. Matt answered, and instead of being annoyed about all my questions, he answered them super clearly and super patiently.
He was also very honest, saying what he could & couldn't do to make the bike suit my grumpy back. He encouraged me to come to the store, so I could try out his various work-arounds, but he wasn't pushy at all. Once I got there, he spent a bunch of time w/ me and my husband, and he was amazingly helpful, super attentive and so good at explaining stuff. And I think (hope!) the bike will work, given the wise changes he suggested.
I'm old, and I've bought a fair amount of bikes in my lifetime, but I've never been in a bike shop that has an employee as great as Matt. He is awesome. Thank you so much for having him at your store!!
Everyone made me feel quite at home, explained everything in a clear and patient manner. Made the adjustments as I requested without making me feel like a burden. And gave me the bike I was looking for and nothing else. Matt, you were outstanding! Thanks so much and see you soon!
Love avie! The newest tallest sales person! Always love Matt ! And let me just say i have consistently has issues with my rear derailleur cable on my Trek Domaine and Alvin/Albin.
