The service team at Bicycle Habitat on Vanderbilt does great work - I'd had my bike tuned up at other shops with very mixed to poor results - where the Bicycle Habitat team on Vanderbilt nails it every time, from tune-ups to quickly fixing my kid's flat tire. The team in the bike shop (sales) are super helpful and easy to work with as well.

I came in for my rare 650 tubes and they guy who helped me out found exactly what I needed! So I bought two spares and was a seamless polite transaction.
If he tried to upsale me he failed lol Got awkward after he mentioned my tires… Gatorskin…
helpfully laid out the options available to deal with the repair issue I had and did a very reasonably priced job dealing with the issue.
All went well. I ordered a mirror and when it came in I was emailed and went over a few days later and picked it up…..no problems encountered. The mirror works well….happy about that. The folks there were pleasant too.

Very nice bikes. We have been riding them on the Hudson River bike path. The frame is just the right size for me. The staff is very helpful. The store is also convenient for me.

I ordered a bicycle online because of an online only sale. I never received notification that the bicycle was ready. When I called a week later, I was told it had been sitting there waiting for me.
Ultimately the frame size was too large. This was noted by the person in charge when I returned the bike. He saw that right off. However when I picked up the bike, no one commented on this. This could have save both BIcycle Habitat and myself time.
You guys were really nice and did a great job with my bike. Will be back in the future for all my bike related needs.
