Bike health check usefull for deciding what you want done. Good choice of new bikes and products. Generally always happy with the services however there have been a couple of occasions when they have had the bike for over two weeks after the bike check phone call to begin presumably waiting for parts. An update would be appreciated if it's to be over 10 days or so.

I had a bike fit by Julian. The whole experience from the moment I walked in to when I left was relaxed but professional. After having knee replacement surgery earlier in the year I was keen to get back on my bike (and to buy a new one) but needed to make sure the bike working for me. Julian was able to use his depth of experience and knowledge to advise me on the optimal set-up. Very happy with the outcome and can’t wait to pick up the new Landrace Tupelo. Many thanks.

I am 76 years old and, on medical advice, I need to keep my pulse rate below 108 bpm. I also need to keep exercising. Consequently, I have made the switch to a Trek Domane+ ALR.
I gave Ben a comprehensive list of the features I would like on an ebike and he guided me through the minefield that is finding an electric bike. Although I have had to compromise over some of the specifications I am delighted with my new bike, on which I will be able to exercise and meet the conditions placed on me by the cardiologist. The Domane+ ALR, although by far the most expensive bike I have ever bought, is competitively priced when compared to other options.
Ben has been amazing throughout and spent a lot of time fitting me to the bike, taking into account my need for a relaxed cycling position. He also addressed my reservations about the compromises I made, especially concerning the drive train. I have always ridden on a Shimano drive system and never on Schramm or with a single speed chain wheel with a wide ranging cassette. Ben assured me that I would soon make the transition and gave me the opportunity to try the system at the time of fitting. He was right and on the 18 mile ride from the shop to home, I quickly made the transition and only on a few occasions tried to change down with the brake lever.
I cannot speak highly enough of the service Ben provided. Without his guidance, support and understanding I could easily have made an expensive mistake.

Excellent service, I rang to ask a few questions, queries re the bike I was looking at online, the gentleman on the phone was extremely knowledgeable, and I felt I got an instore shopoing experience even though I purchased the bike online. Be told me he would keep an eye out for the order and true to form, the bike arrived to my door the very next day. Instructions to assemble the pedals easy to follow. Highly recommend. This is the second bike we have bought from Garys Cycles and will definitely return in the future. 5 stars.
Mega service again from Cookson's. Sorted me out in the nick off time to send me away on my biking holiday. Sean and the lads went above and beyond to make sure my bike was all sorted with its replacement parts.
