I had a wonderful experience with my first ever performance bike fitting. I felt made to be a gold card member even though this was my first time stepping foot into your store.
I was worried that there would be an element of updates to the fitting where I would be told id need to buy this and that but it was quite the opposite.
Even though we quickly established the bike that id bought was slightly on the large size for me the mechanic who fitted me did everything in his power to get the bike to fit me as comfortably as the bike would allow and advised me on what he would do to further get the bike to fit better if I chose to spend the extra money at a later date.
Not only was he very experienced Im the science behind the fitting process he was very relatable in the fact that he didnt want me to waste money that I didnt need to, I felt so at ease and when I rode the bike up the road after the fitting I felt like I had a completely different beast between my legs. The real test will be when I complete my event this weekend and compare data to my previous race where I hated every moment of the bike element.
I have already recommended your service to a friend who is booking in with you this week and I am 100% going to book my wife in for a fitting as soon as she can because I want her to feel as excited as I now am to ride her bike.

Friendly staff and great knowledge
I came for help and advice due to a problem with my hands which causes me issues in using the brakes on my current bike and I would need to look for an alternative option.
The staff and manager immediately came to help and give advice on what bikes may be suitable for me.
I went away to think about it and also went to look at some other bikes elsewhere. The other bike supplier made no effort to come over and ask if I needed help. They clearly did not want custom.
I returned three days later to Rides on Air and after a ride around a car park on the bike that was considered to be suitable for my needs I made the decision to go ahead with the purchase.
Two days later I picked up the bike and have been very happy with it.
The staff were brilliant and the service was spot on. I have been asked to bring the bike back for a check over in 6-8 weeks which I am sure will be fine.
I will certainly be returning the bike for regular checks and maintenance.

I’d suggest giving Summit Cycles a try—their staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful when you’re picking out a bike, ensuring you get the perfect fit. They even let me test out two different sizes to see which one felt right for me, since I was just on the cusp of medium and large. I have been using the cycles uk with my husband ,we both purchased cycles from them and we have our service with them as well ,staff are polite ,informative and we have never been disappointed so will always go to them for help and advice.
Having trawled several bike shops for assistance I had success with Trek Bike Bristol.
I was after increasing the hill climbing gears on my Trek Domane SL6. Luckily Charlie and Rob liked a challenge and after an hour or so checking compatibility and availability we had a solution. The parts were ordered, updates were received and within a couple of weeks I have a road bike with a 31:36 climbing gear ratio. (I can't believe this isn't a standard upgrade for cyclists with small thighs like me wishing to tackle the steep ramps in Cornwall, Devon and Wales on a road bike; but what do I know?)
Anyway I couldn't be happier with the service from Trek Bike. Great personal service and so much better than 'you should buy a gravel bike or train harder' advice I got from elsewhere.

The products and services are first class, and folk in the shop are really knowledgeable about everything cycling related.. it’s the small things that set them apart, like waxing the chain on a new bike, because that’s what they do to their bikes.. first class!!
