We found staff in the store very informative and helpful, especially Andy and Nelson who served us. They advised on which bikes were most suitable for our needs and on size to purchase. Andy was great in sending us a quote by email so we could order by phone. Nelson’s handover was knowledgable and he followed this up by sending info on panniers to purchase .

Big Bear Bikes always have a can do attitude to any bike issue or question I’ve presented them with, no job is too small or too big, great advice and I never have to wait long for an appointment with the Serviced Team.
They also stock a great range of products but if they don’t happen to have what you want in stock, they will order it for you, or you can purchase your own products and they’ll fit them for you, Big Bear Bikes really are the benchmark for other bike shops to be measured on.

I put my bike in for a service and a mistake happened- my bike wasn't serviced and every time I called I was being given incorrect information because the shop had confused my bike with someone else's.
What impressed me was how honest they were about what had happened and how hard and quickly they worked to put it right. They made a second mistake, accidentally giving tyres ordered for me to another customer. Again they were honest and they put it right.
This is what stopped me from finding another bike shop. They are honest and fair.
