Tbe absolute best bike shop I've been into. I've been to others and all they've done is show me what size bike would fit me. I wasn't offered to try one for size unlike Peddlers, they actually brought me two different makes of MTB to try. I spoke to Phil and his advice was excellent, just what I needed to hear!
After a visit to another bike shop, my mind was made up to get one from Peddlers. But which one. I was shown a Giant Talon 0 and a Trek Marlin 7. Both have dropper posts and both were medium sized frames. The Giant was first and worked well for me with the downside being the seat, at its lowest, I could feel it where I was sitting on it. My feet were flat to the floor which is good but the seat post , when raised, may have been too tall for me.
The Trek Marlin 7 was next. That felt even better as with the seat lowered, I could have feet on the ground without feeling the seat. The dropper post on this also could be positioned to a comfortable height while riding.
This feature and the very helpful advice led me to buying the Trek Marlin 7 from them.
The folks there are excellent in their knowledge and speak to people rather than talk down to people. This made me feel comfortable dealing with them.
I would definitely recommend the shop to anyone that wants to buy a bike or E-Bike. Friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful.
