I like when everything is neatened up a little after the cleaning - towels are lined up, pillows are arranged, things like that.
Can you please ensure trash bags are put in the trash cans in the upstairs and downstairs bathroom? This is done inconsistently. Also clean the top of the trash can in the upstairs bathroom, it collects a lot of hair spray build up and, again, is inconsistently wiped down.

Merry Maids is open to your feedback, both positive and negative. I think that one of the best things for me is that when I express any concerns about the way the work is done they are always willing to work with me and take all of my individual requests seriously. It's a difficult service to provide, and they are willing to personalize your cleaning teams so that you are satisfied with the way the cleaning is done. We all have different expectations about the outcome of our service, and being an older person my expectations are pretty high. They have no problem making sure I'm satisfied with their work - whatever it takes! The products work well.

Overall the experience has definitely improved from where we started. Recently there has been a new crew (yesterday and one other week) where Casey was assisting with cleaning. I have been much more impressed with the level of cleanliness with Casey's team and would like for them to handle the cleaning going forward. I will also send an email.
In regards to improving? It would just be the details, ensuring all rooms are tidy and floors/rugs are cleaned. Sometimes it seems that a corner or by the bed might not be done. Again, overall I am satisfied though.

Not all teams are the same. That is, one visit the service is good and the next time it absolutely sucks. My home is pretty clean when a team arrives, and I feel as though they take advantage of this, and try to sneak by without doing things.
Hardwood floors were not cleaned well at all, there was still hair in the shower drain, and the refrigerator (which we paid extra for) still had food residue on some shelves. Since this was a move-in cleaning, none of the dirt, hair, or stains were even ours, making it even more gross! For what we paid, I expected more.
On the other hand, there were some things that were done extremely well, like the baseboards, the stove, the granite countertops, and the kitchen cabinets. It was a mixed bag overall.
