What could we do to improve?

The person was very friendly and appeared to take his job seriously, however since I was paying for a deep cleaning I noticed some things he missed such as dusting in some areas, overlooked dusting a couple of lamps and a makeup dresser.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

I have been using MM for a couple of years now for my beach house. Each year I have to have you come back after the first cleaning because there are cobwebs, etc. Their is a note left saying that all kinds of stuff was cleaned that we don't even have which is confusing. I have decide to switch to a different company next year.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

Similar to my previous comments a few months ago, I still feel that the consistency of service is highly variable. Sometimes the cleanings are great and other times they are horrendous. In fact, I was near canceling the service and finding someone else, but the last two cleanings have met my expectations and have kept me from canceling the service at this point. I understand that I am able to call back and received fixes to what I deem not acceptable, but I hired a cleaning service because I am extremely limited on time. This option is not all that helpful for someone with a hectic schedule. I end up simply going through and re-cleaning things that I already paid to have cleaned.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

I am paying about $90 per hour for cleaning which seems very high. I've called and asked about it but did not get a return call or resolution.

What do you like about our services and the products used in your home?

I have been a satisfied client of Merry Maids for over 5 years now. I love Nancy, who does such a wonderful job of cleaning my home which in turn gives me some much needed downtime on the few days I have that I am not working at my own job. As a woman, there are precious few 'luxuries' I allow myself, but this is one that I feel is "Not just a luxury, it's smarter than that", as the Lincoln Car commercial says. It's smart because it allows me the gift of time with my grown children and grandchilden (who live in neighborning states) on some weekends and know that my own home is still being maintained. I would only add that I would like come home to a 'clean, fresh' scent of cleaning as well, since the house is often closed up tight for many hours while I am at work. Room freshners are ok - but I like the smell of 'clean' as well. I don't believe any products with scents are used.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

One week I was told my house couldn't be cleaned because the maid thought she smelled a gas leak. I left work rushed home met the gas company. No gas leak. Two weeks later I get a call that my house wouldn't be cleaned because the lock on my front door wasn't working. Once again I left work to check on my door. Nothing was wrong the lock was exactly the same as it had been in previous weeks. I have cancelled my service do to this. I'm still waiting to get my keys back which I was told would be done right away.

HELLO, I CALLED LAST FRIDAY AND EXPECTED A RETURN CALL. MY HOME WAS COMPLETELY UNSATISFACTORY. AN OFFER WAS MADE FOR A RETURN VISIT THIS MONDAY. MY MOM IS VISITING AFTER SURGERY AND THAT DID NOT WORK FOR ME. I REQUESTED COMPENSATION OF SOME KIND DUE TO THE CIRCUMSTANCES. PLEASE FOLLW UP IN THIS REGARD. THANK YOU, First name removed

The ONLY Merry Maid that cleans my home the way I want is Terry...All of the others skip areas that they feel would not be noticed. Most of them feel that they must rush through to get the next assigment...

They have only been here once. However, on that occasion there were many surfaces that we completely undone. After pointing this out they gladly took care of it but I didn't feel like I should have to be pointing it out. They will be back again today.

How did we disappoint you and what can we do to make things right?

The first time my house was cleaned, Carole did an excellent job... Just had it cleaned for the 2nd time on June 23 by 2 other merrymaids. The kitchen floor was definitely not washed. I called on Saturday and left a message.. no one called me back. I called back on Tuesday, June 28 and they sent Carole out to wash the kitchen floor. Not sure why no one returned my call after 2 days went by. Carole rewashed all bathroom floors also, and revacumed the entire house! That was not necessary since all I asked for was to have the kitchen floor washed, and it was more work for Carole than was needed. Also when they clean, they put nothing back where it was originally.. I have to go around straightening everything out

What could we do to improve?

Be a little less expensive. I think it is important to let clients know that this imore maintenance service and not complete cleaning as was done by myself when I managed the house myself. Same assignments is very important.
I think kitchen floors need more attention in general.

I know many people that have private cleaners and by comparison their services seem to overall offer more for less money.

I am happy most of the time
