I like having a clean home without having to lift a finger. And Merry Maids provides consistently good service.
I do not feel that the service has been as good as it us to be in the past. Most of the time when I get home I find a LOT of missed areas. The mirrors are washed but have streaks, etc.
Leaving the 'Welcome Home' letter consistently so that I may see what has been done when Merry Maids has completed their service. I only get that letter when Kevin comes to service my home.
Adding the 'Additional Tasks' that I have requested (customize the list) be done to the service list for my home (ie: wiping down cabinet faces in kitchen).
Turning lights on in the house while cleaning.
upstairs toilet was left dirty. 1/2 bath floor tacky, I needed to call worker back into the house to clean walls and baseboard. Walls still have stains them.
It has been over a week since our first cleaning and I am still discovering little extras that the ladies did in our home. My stove burners were scrubbed clean! LOVE IT!
Hire people who want to do good work, like terry. She is always pleasant, and very competent...You need more like her
Even after I complained about the floors not being swept under the beds, and a supervisor agreed to follow up at the next cleaning, there was still dust/dirt under the beds.
We will not be using MM next season.
Merry Maids are thorough in their cleaning. They take their time and do not rush just to get the job done

For $110 I expected better cleaning. We were really impressed by the first cleaning but I paid $200 for that. For a 2 bedroom apartment in Quincy it shouldn't be that expensive. We've dropped back to bi-monthly now since it doesn't seem worth it. We may drop all together depending on how it goes on the new schedule.
The thoroughness - and the reliability
Carole did a great job. The only correction is that the dining room chairs were skipped.
Almost always well done. Had to complain once, and problem was immediately resolved with follow up.
Everything shines after the ladies leave and for many days there after. Somehow when I do it myself I don't get the same effect.
i like the reminder calls and if for some reason i need to cancel and reschedule a cleaning day, you are always accommodating...and pleasant and cooperative about it, too!
Cleaning job is just okay -- I could probably do better myself had I the time. I also don't like the fact that tipping is permitted; I feel like your prices are very high already. Finally, your teams have broken all four of my stove top knobs which we replaced. Frequently my gas burners don't light after my cleanings.

I like that I now have more time with my family instead of cleaning the house. Now anyone can come by at anytime and I am not worried or embarrased.
In 99% of the time the cleaning is done "like magic" while I am out at work or elsewhere. I have never had a problem with security or the like.
In the 1% of the time when cleaning is not completely to my satisfaction I call the office and it is taken care of effectively and without msking me feel "like a heel"

The courtesy call the day before you arrive and the very pleasant people you employ. I got Merry Maids for my 88 year old father and he is very impressed with the job the Merry Maids do.
