As promised, I received a pre-arrival phone call that the ZeroRez technician was 20 minutes out, and his arrival was well within the time-window agreed upon when I scheduled the appointment. I was given his name.
The technician Andrew was personable, polite and knowledgeable, He answered my many questions and listened to my suggestions. Before he started cleaning he measured the areas to be cleaned and clearly went over the estimate - allowing me to easily add 3 large soiled couch-cushions to the job that I hadn't thought to include when I scheduled. The estimate that Andrew gave me was almost exactly the same reasonable rough-estimate given to me when I scheduled the appointment over the phone (+ the couch cushions).
As he cleaned our carpets Andrew worked quickly and efficiently. He was sure to protect the moldings and corners of our home from "hose rub". Andrew threw his back into his work and used good old-fashioned 'elbow grease' despite our house being the final call of his day. I did not think our carpeted staircase would ever look this clean again without buying new carpet!
Before he addressed a troublesome pet-stain on an large, expensive, tightly-hooked light-colored high-pile wool oriental rug, Andrew was sure to give me a realistic expectation of what the cleaning might be able to accomplish, and helped me to understand that his main concern was for the continued integrity of the rug. The stain was removed with far greater success than either of us thought.
Our regular carpets were completely dry in 5 hours, with our A/C dropped to 70 during that time. In both socks and bare feet we immediately noticed the difference from previous non Zero-Res cleanings. You can see the carpets are clean, and you can actually feel that the carpets are soft and refreshed, - there is no left-behind feeling of coarseness, stiffness or resistance due to soap residue being left to dry in the fibres. We live 'Hawaiian style' in our home (no shoes) so we are pleased to continue to notice this marked difference every day.
