Within the past month I had may carpets cleaned by a competitor of Zerorez - a company I had used for many years. I was displeased with the results they achieved in the high traffic areas in my home. In places, it didn't look like they had done anything to clean those. I had heard many radio ads about Zerorez and decided to give them a try to see if they really were better - as their ads say. I'm so glad I did. I'm so pleased with the results. The tech who came out cleaned one small area to show me the difference he could achive. He told me I could decide after seeing that area - which he cleaned at no charge - if I wanted the other problems areas done. The results were amazing - so he estimated the cost for the rest of cleaning and did it immediately. Great service and I'm so pleased with the results.

There were several ways in which I was disappointed. 1) The fact that you charge $35 for having the hallway cleaned; another company I used did not charge anything. 2) You consider a room which is larger than 10' X 20' to count as two rooms; never had another company charge that way. 3) The technician quoted extra treatment for high-traffic areas as costing $60 per area; I consider that exorbitant. 4) Instead of offering to move our dining room chairs to the kitchen in order to clean the floor better, he suggested we do it; not my idea of good service. 5) Your promise that the carpet will dry faster with your method than that of other steam-cleaning companies was absolutely false.
Bottom line: I do not consider your service to be any better than your competitors, so in the future I will simply use whoever offers the best deal.

I was told my rugs would come back in three weeks (before Christmas), yet it took five with no explanation. It also took more than one phone call to get a response. Still no explanation of the delay...or an apology...but I do have my property back now.

I spent $162 to have a 8x10 area rug cleaned (when zerorez was running radio spots advertising 4 rooms for $99). The tech ensured me that all the special treatments I was paying for would eliminate any of the puppy urine smells that were the reason for me having it cleaned in the first place. $162 later, the rug smells worse than before and I might as well put it on the curb for trash pick-up.

We were very happy with the way the rug cleaning came out. Your tech was very nice and professional and did a good job for us. I like the way you don't use any of those harsh chemicals to take the stains out with, and that there isn't any of that awful after smell. I would recommend you people to anyone needing their rugs cleaned.

not really dissppointed with the results, our carpets are clean. When technician walked in , the first thing out of his mouth was that he needed to add another $100 to the price to treat spots. What was the $200 charge for? Not happy about his suggestion that it would cost anohter $100. Also he did not vacuum??? Wow, all the other ones vacuum first , AND I dont think you mentioned that vacuuming was not included, so he started cleaning the carpets with no vacuum .
. Carpets took overnight to dry, we were shocked about that

The first time I used your service, the rep gave me an additional service for free (on his own accord - not by request). This time the rep up-sold me on some services, leaving me to feel like I didn't get a "special deal".

The tech was so polite and timely! The carpets looked amazing when he left!

Lead man on the crew was too aggressive. Did not listen to me very well. Came into my house before he was really invited. Made me uncomfortable. I'm glad I was home. Would not want my wife to deal with him by herself.
The young helper was fine. Very respectful.

Have a questions - Why was I chaged sales tax when the application was residential?

They work and last a long time in between cleanings. Technicians very proficient.

I don't see any need for improvement right now, but the real test is how your carpets look two weeks later; will the dirt patches stay away, etc.?

there were still some stains on a carpet that was clean - these were dirt stains from shoes but overall the carpets were very clean

I spent $120.00 the first time I had Zerorez out to remove pet stain. The room is only 9x9. Since that didn't work I called back and found out that the best treatment was not done the first time because it was cat urine. All they did the fist time was put enzymes on it. I was unaware at the time there was a water extraction process that should have worked much better. I was told that I would be given a $60 credit for the first treatment for cleaning. When the tech came out the second time he was unable to determine where the stains were the first time because of the initial cleaning your company did. The black light would no longer pick up the area of stain. Because of that the tech used 6 and 1/2 gallons of water extraction at $75 a gallon. The area that was treated was only 9ft long and 1ft wide. Also, I was not told there would be another charge of $50 for cleaning. I was given a $25 discount by the tech because he knew I was upset. I ended up spending $487.00 the second time!!! The worst part is it did not help at all!!! I am going to have to replace the carpet now. The total amount I ended up paying Zero Rez for a room 9x9 was $547 and I am still going to have to replace the carpet.

I had to call and ask why I wasn't given the Fuller's Jewelry gift certificate since I had mentioned the radio station when I made my appointment. I was told I did qualify and had to go online to get the reward. I shouldn't have had to call and ask about this. Either a certificate should have been given to me or I should have been told at the time of the service how to obtain the certificate. Feels like a scam.

Did not honor the verbal on-site price quote before the work was done. The results (the job done) was really great, but obviously, any recommendation I give will be followed by a caveat to get the price in writing before the work is done, and review the invoice before they leave.

We were told that to have 3 rooms of carpet cleaned, a pet job done on one of those, and all three rooms treated with Teflon (or whatever it's called) would cost $230. This was with the 3 for $99 deal. In an effort to save money, we decided to do just the one room with the pet odor problem. Upon completion (and not until then), the tech told us that there is a $99 minimum for carpet cleaning. This brought our total to $200 for one room…ONE ROOM! If we had known it was that redicilously priced for a single room, we would have paid the extra $30 to have all three done. We were very upset that the tech didn't bother letting us know.

As if that wasn't enough frustration, the smell is already back one day later.
