Terminix has sent some professional and some that were not so professional to my home. However, I am locked in for several things and have to keep Terminix for warranty reasons. I do think that they need to improve in several areas.
The people I talk to on the phone are very professional, but there was an incident recently where I was told someone would come one day and I canceled all appointments to be here for them and then I was told, “oh no,” they’re not coming till next week. The problem did get resolved, however, when you cancel your appointments to be home for your scheduled appointment, it doesn’t make you happy to find out you were given the wrong date or it was changed and you were not notified.
A year ago, my electrician found a sloppy job done with my dehumidifier under the house that I paid a lot of money for. Once I sent the pictures to my Terminix manager here in Tennessee the problem was resolved. On the other hand, the extended amount of time I didn’t know it was broken could have caused mold again under my house. I think extensive training needs to happen with your employees who are doing installations. Now I can say, the people that come out and spray have been wonderful, polite, professional, and very helpful, but every new employee should be thoroughly trained and once a year all employees should be reviewed and submitted to a one day refresher course. I know in this day and age it is very difficult to find really good employees. However, it is the responsibility of the company to make sure the services that they say they are going to provide are delivered.
