we love Carrie, Jackie and all the front desk folks! groomers are efficient and do a wonderful job with our dog!
My dogs haircut was uneven everywhere. My fault for not checking before leaving. Will not come.back.
Friendly staff, concern for dogs, flexibility for pick ups. I really like being able to check on him over the web.
So simple and efficient process overall. Although my dog doesn’t love it she would rather be with people all day, I know it will tire her out and she’s safe and happy.
Need the webcams working properly and in use. They always seem to be out of order.
There needs to be some sort of enrichment or activity instead of the dogs just milling around in the room all day with nothing to do.
My dog, Herbie, absolutely loves it there! As soon as we turn onto Hurstbourne from Shelbyville Rx he begins to bark and wag his tail and just absolutely freak out. He gets so excited I worry he may cause an accident. Not really but he shakes and wiggles and goes bonkers. We have been to another daycare and he never reacted anything like that. It makes me feel good knowing he is getting his energy out, getting loved kn and having a blast.
Friendly and very helpful staff!
Our dog is tired and happy after boarding with Dogtopia.
My dog loves going to DOGTOPIA. He is always really excited each time we arrive. He is just as excited when I pick him up, proving to me that he’s had a great day. He loves the staff there and is very enthusiastic every time you see someone who knows. I feel very confident with the Care he’s receiving and would highly recommend DOGTOPIA to anyone who needs care for their pup. Thank you very much. Jane and Oink.:)
My dogs love going to Dogtopia for daycare. I take them about 3 times a month, just so they can get extra socialization. They start wagging their tails as soon as we park the car, as they know they are going to have fun, fun, FUN. They come home happy and exhausted.
Your staff are wonderful.
Great staff!
Everyone is very nice and professional!
Everyone seems to really Love dogs!! Bear comes home tired & happy
Small dogs locked in a small pen outside??
My Loki loves it there!!! They take such good care of the pups!!!
I love that me and my dog Ranger see the same friendly faces and they know who he is when we walk in :) longevity of your stuff definitely helps in trusting Dogtopia with my baby! I appreciate that he can get an exit bath before pickup so he’s fresh and clean coming home. Convenient booking on the app plus cameras to check in. Activities and snacks and themes and affordable pricing literally everything is amazing’
We absolutely love dogtopia! Their staff is incredibly knowledgeable and makes my pup feel at ease when they’re there. I love being able to watch the cameras when I’m missing my babies at daycare
I know my dog is in good hands and well-loved.
The staff was A1 and seem to be very attentive to my baby. The facility was very clean and did not have a smell. My pup was able to interact with other dogs something that he had not done before his first visit. Highly recommended Dogtopia !!!!
Everyone treats my dog with love
Customer service, love of dogs
Friendly staff
We’ve had a great experience with this Dogtopia! The staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly loves the dogs in their care. Our pup is always excited to arrive and comes home happy, tired, and well cared for. We appreciate the clean facility, doggie webcams to watch them during the day, and the peace of mind knowing our dog is in a safe environment. Highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring place for their furry family member!
You can tell everyone who works at Dogtopia truly cares about the animals.
While I really appreciated the depth to which the front desk staff understood and remembered the personalities of the dogs in their care on the day of our Meet and Greet, there were a couple of things during the day that sadly did not sit well for me and ended up changing my mind towards the negative despite the convenient location and fair pricing structure of this Dogtopia. (1) Cameras off during crating 12-2pm is shady. I assume that's a corporate decision and it sits very, very poorly with me because I cannot explain it in any way aside from "we're doing something we don't want owners to see." (2) I was gently "white lied" to by staff about whether my dog went outside by ~4:15pm when we got him back. He did not get any outdoor time. My dog, like many, refuses to pee or poo indoors and it was totally against my expectation that the "morning and afternoon outside times every day" wouldn't happen at all. To me, that fully and completely negates the purpose of daycare. Yes, it's playtime for some, but the first and foremost consideration should be the biological needs of the dogs in care of the facility. Going "potty" is a vulnerable time and often needs to be expressly facilitated for anxious dogs. Speaking of which, (3) I never once saw my dog drinking. While that does not result in imminent crisis after several hours, it again should be a major priority. I can't imagine why not crate dogs with a bowl of water if they did not feel comfortable drinking around others, or if they're too brought up/excited. Or use the meet-n-greet area, or outdoor area. Or put bowls in more than one location in the room (City room in this case). My dog was very, very warm when we got him back and his mucous membranes were dry. (4) Caretakers ranged from very empathetic to very impatient with the dogs. At the start of the day, I felt I was talking to a professional who said she would conduct my dog's meet-n-greet, but the one who fetched my dog at the end decided that cornering him and towering over him was the best way to bring him out (while I watched). No treats, no kneeling down, no "let's go home," no asking me (while I waited) what might work for him. Just cornering him, lassoing him, and then telling me to harness him because he was showing signs of aggression.... Very unfortunate series of events that single-handedly solidified my certainty with not coming back. (5) My dog reeked of urine and anal gland material after his visit. There are too many dogs in one tiny room. This is unequivocal and once I came home, I saw that forum posts about this location all echoed the same thing. Way, way, way too many dogs. Even a more efficient staff couldn't keep that clean. Hence why my dog now may have an eye infection (pending confirmation). I'm sad that we spent a critical day with our dog in this facility, paying for a mandatory assessment which is free elsewhere, instead of choosing a place we could have used the same weekend. I'm sad that the staff's standards for contacting me to get him early were for him to be shaking in panic in a corner, but his daylong pacing with pinned-back ears was unconcerning. I'm sad that there was no positive reinforcement to make his day better for him: treats, balls, fun sounds, anything. We paid for a pup cup and it's a mystery as to whether he received it - he had no blueberry skin in his teeth, so I doubt it (and the desk could only say that no caretaker mentioned him refusing food, which even in maximally scary situations he does not do anyway). He got put into a different room due to space overflow so I am not surprised if we paid for nothing. This was just a big disappointment given the evident care of some of the staff. It would be nice to know that some of this gets taken into consideration for the future comfort of other pets.
We truly feel like the staff loves our dog as much as we do! Nugget gets so excited when he knows hes going to dogtopia..because its the best day ever! Playing with friends, naps, working with trainers, and the special events...we have the happiest pup thanks to Dogtopia!
Easy to schedule, staff great with our dogs.

They are so great with your furry family member! I couldn’t ask for a better place to board my daughters best friend while we had to go out of town for 2 nights
