We enjoy being able to have a fun place for our dog to stay when we go out of town
I think my dog had a good time. I do not think he ate much or slept much. It was the first time leaving him overnight. These are the things that could improve:
* Checking in: I felt more like I was checking into a prison. Items from my dog bag were hurled above the persons head and thrown down on the counter. She took a piece of paper sat down at the computer then proceeded to say, you left an emergency contact but did not leave a phone number. We need that number or do you have that number? I said, it is on the paper in your hand along with my dog's information. She said, you brought a bed and that is not allowed, it was a pad he sometimes lays on. I told her they said it was OK to bring when I spoke with them on the phone but I did read in a little book I was given not to bring one. I said, I can take that if it is a problem. She said if he pees on it or has an accident do we have your permission to throw it away? I said, no, it is washable just put it in the bag. She said I will need authorization for that and I said, it is fine I can just take it and then she said it was fine to leave? I picked up my dog and the fresh food container had not been cleaned out which I felt was gross.
I’d like to better understand the policy regarding collars at Dogtopia Cherry Hill. I was informed that my dog cannot wear his Fi collar due to concerns that other dogs might chew it.
However, I’ve noticed that the DASH device is allowed. This makes it unclear what specifically makes the Fi collar unacceptable.
If Dogtopia only authorizes the use of its own DASH device, I believe this should be clearly stated in your policies or agreement so pet parents can make informed decisions in advance. I also searched your website and was unable to find any information outlining this restriction.
I prefer not to use the DASH monitor. My Fi collar already offers advanced features such as GPS tracking, and I am comfortable using it for my dog.
At the moment, it feels as customers are pressured to adopt a specific device, whereas the service I enrolled in is daycare, not a monitoring product. I prefer to continue using my current collar and would appreciate clarification on whether any flexibility is possible.

Dogtopia is great! There are six rooms for different sizes and activity levels of dogs and they do evaluations to make sure your dog is a fit for Dogtopia and that they are placed in the right room. The staff is very communicative and love the dogs and they staff the rooms appropriately to ensure safe play. I fully trust my dog with Dogtopia for both daycare and overnight stays. They have many processes in place to ensure the dogs are safe. Highly recommend!
As a fur mom, all I want is to know my pup feels safe and comfortable when I’m not there. I’ve had experiences where she’s visibly anxious—shaking at the groomer or the vet—which always breaks my heart. But at Dogtopia, it’s completely different. She happily walks in without hesitation, which tells me she feels secure, cared for, and at ease. That peace of mind makes all the difference for me.
Everything! Staff is amazing and my dog is excited when we pull up to the front door!
The actual service is fantastic. My only gripes are I wish there was a way to track what room my dog is currently in. Having a large black dog he blends in with the crates /other dogs, and is hard to see on the cameras when I want to check in with him. The other thing is viewing the webcams through the mobile app. I am consistently closing, re-opening, and swapping cameras because the live feed either doesn’t load properly or freezes very often. I really appreciate the cameras being there but it is a little frustrating that the feed freezes or doesn’t load very frequently.

The people!
I LOVE how much my pup loves this place and every single team member there. And the best part is... they love him just as much! I love how many services you can get done there while your pup plays with their friends. Grooming him while hes at daycare is sooo convenient! The best part is he comes home so tuckered out! The squeal he makes when we pull in the parking lot is the best ever!
What don't I like would be an easier question. NOTHING!
Take care of the dogs while maintaining professionalism, good care, and love for them. Make their owners comfortable and knowing their pet is well cared for and in good hands.

Lack of feedback on how first visit was, I had to ask and was told, “it went fine”. However, my dog was visibly stressed, panting and chest and front legs wet from drooling. He seemed to be crated every time I checked the camera.

The staff are the key. Always friendly and welcoming. Clearly love and care about the doors. Smooth drop off and pick up process.

I like the idea of being able to check in and see my dog while we are gone. I was told the only times I couldn’t see him would be 12-2 for lunch and after 7:30 or 8pm Last night after 6:15 or never came back on.
There are just different times we log on and we can’t see anything just a video.
Is it correct we should be able to see starting at 7am then not from 12-2. Then 7:30-8 they go to bed ?
