We have had our dog, Bear, going to Dogtopia NW for the last two years. It is such a friendly and convenient place to drop him off while we are in Edmonton. Prior to this, we would have to rush home to feed/walk him and he would always be very hyperactive after a day alone (he's a doodle afterall). Occasionally, we would be gone longer than we wanted (it's a two hour drive), and the poor guy had to cross his legs waiting for us. Now, when we go to the city it isn't such a race and Bear comes home happy and exhausted, no after city walks needed (thank goodness as we are tired too).
Dogtopia NW has an incredibly high standard for safety and awareness as to how their pooches are doing in their facility. I always recommend them for daycare as well as boarding. Their vidcams just make our parental hearts a little more at ease when we can't be with them so that we can enjoy our time away.
Bear now has a sister and Millie is enjoying her time at daycare as well.

It is such a great feeling to know you pet family member is well taken care of when you travel. Being able to monitor them even when out of country is a plus. Tala is always so happy to stay at Dogtopia and loves the staff and other playmates.
We know Cassie is safe, well taken care of, and we appreciate we have a reliable place we can send Cassie to when she needs overnight boarding.
Communication issues on dropping off my dog just for grooming - said it was an hour wait so it wasn't expressed that I would be charged for him waiting in line for grooming like daycare. I thought I was told no appointment would be necessary so when I got charged 1/2 day for daycare while he was waiting for just bath/nail trim, I wasn't pleased. It should have been mentioned that I should bring him back later or that a daycare charge would be imposed. I probably would have left and gone home and bathed myself . Just wasn't clear on what the charges would be initially.
Everyone is friendly, the place is very clean & smells clean. The place is kept clean with frequent cleanings. I could tell that the dogs are very well taken care of. My Izzy loves going and is tired when she comes home! I love being able to watch her on the webcam. All around a 10🌟place!
I love that the girls know Millie by name and are so enthusiastic at drop off.
The lunch break is too long. We may move to another day care due to this

My dogs paws, top and bottom come home blackened by the mats. Also the smell of urine on him was off putting. Needed a bath as soon as we got him home.
The gals that work there are great! He loves going, the exercise and socialization is a great bonus

I’d love more outdoor time for the dogs, even when it’s cold. I’d also love to be able to see the facility instead of hearing it’s under construction. Overall we’re happy at our daycare!
The staff are very friendly and informative. The prices for what they offer are reasonable. The Webcam is a plus - I can see how our puppy is interacting with other dogs.
Staff there are wonderful and very helpful. You can tell they love the dogs. I like the variety of activities, hours they are open, and especially the fact that they have a WebCam.

I like that you truly like and care for the animals. There is a positive atmosphere. I appreciate that you recognize me and my pet and greet us by name. My Teddy is excited to come. I feel comfortable leaving him for daycare or staying as a boarder when I am away. I am very pleased with Teddy's care and grooming.

Dogtopia continues to exceed every expectation. The staff is genuinely exceptional - Ian, Clementine, and the whole team radiate warmth and are the best in the business. My pup is always excited to walk through the door, which says everything.
The themed days, flexible accommodations, and consistent open communication make drop-off stress-free. I used to dread boarding, but now I leave knowing he's in the best possible hands. I've recommended Dogtopia to friends and family without hesitation, and I'll keep doing so. This place is the real deal.
