We bought 2 5th wheels from General RV in Fort Pierce in this past year and the experience was very positive both times. We arrived close to closing time, as we weren’t there to buy an RV but to buy some accessories from the store, when my husband started inquiring about new units. Steve who was a new RV salesperson, was still very good, he had already acquired a lot of knowledge and showed us models that we wanted to see, not pushing something else that they had in inventory like we had happen at other dealers. When we negotiated the price with Robert, it was very straight forward, no game. Every step was very positive. We live quite a distance from this location, and they couldn’t get ahold of us (our fault) to let us know that our unit wasn’t ready, they had to move our generator from the other unit and it was more complicated than expected, and when they finally reached us we were already on our way and already close to the location. Don the manager told us to come in anyway, that we would do all the paperwork finalizing the sale, get our tour etc and that they would deliver the unit to us in a few days when it was ready, and they did. Janet who went over the unit with us was very knowledgeable, what she didn’t know she found out. She was bending backward to make sure that we were satisfied. We recommend this place to anyone living in our area, insisting that they should drive there even if there’s other RV dealers much closer.

Overall experience was very good with all dpts. Was a bit overwhelmed with the week leading up to picking up the trailer. Too many people involved, ins sales, sales man and his mgr, apt reps there and were a few things that were not too clear till we got there. Overall it was a good experience. Erika was extremely helpful and knew her stuff and has gone beyond pickup day to assist us.

10, was very happy to receive call from Frank Maslanka about our 42 view destination items to be fixed, he explained everything to me and appreciated the call. Frank has restored our faith in General RV. So happy that he took the time to explain everything and ensure we were taken care of after having issues with the RV. The company is lucky to have such a store manager.

The RV came with a faulty part that was draining the battery. When we tried extending all of the slides, the battery died. Even though is was past closing time, they made sure the issue was fixed and we could take home a functioning unit. Elvyn, Vega, Oscar and Will stayed until midnight working on the issue. They ALL deserve raises. They were very friendly and accommodating.

We have had our camper back a couple times for warranty work and the service advisor Dan has been really good to work with.
