I was greeted when I walked in the door and I needed a leak in my on demand hot water heater. The service advisor wrote a work order and our RV was taken in immediately and the repair was completed in a very short time. I called to make an appointment and was told that it was a critical repair and to just bring it in. Very impressed.
All around the staff was great and Chirstina is Awesome.
For starters, General RV employers exhibited great communication skills. I received texts and voicemails about my updates and they were extremely patient while I took much longer to respond back to them; sometimes, I wouldn’t reach back out for a week which I know can be frustrating. So, their level of patience with my lack of communication was astounding.
Second, when my boyfriend went to pick up the trailer, he noticed the bed seemed low; therefore, our primary issue of the slide messing up the floor again seemed high. My boyfriend asked to speak with someone about this and the service guy took the time to show him the modifications which would greatly limit the issue. We ended up being very happy about the results after we were shown the modifications.
One downside is that our battery was left on in their care and we thought it would work after the drive home (being charged by the truck). However, the battery still does not work, but we don’t want to call yet because maybe our truck just didn’t charge it.
With this entire experience, I’m positive General RV would correct the issue if I mention something, no problem. So, it’s not truly a downside because I haven’t said anything and we need to further inspect the battery ourselves to make sure there’s nothing we can’t do about it first.
Overall, I’m extremely happy we decided to purchase our RV with General RV as they have made our first time RV ownership an easy transition. Great job General RV employees of Tampa!!

A Truly Exceptional Experience at General RV in Huntley!
We recently brought our Grech Class B RV (Sprinter Van) in for a warranty repair and could not be more impressed with the outstanding service we received. From the moment we arrived, the entire team at General RV in Huntley went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for.
They were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating—every step of the process felt easy and stress-free. We were traveling with our three dogs, and not only did they allow us to keep them inside with us, but everyone there made a point to stop and say hello (and give some pets!). It truly felt like we were among family.
We were even able to take important work calls thanks to the comfortable environment. And the little touches made a big difference—fresh-baked cookies, pizza, filled fresh water tanks, and even letting us stay overnight while waiting for parts to arrive. The facility itself is neat, clean, and welcoming.
It’s rare to find this level of hospitality and genuine care. We adore this location and will absolutely be back. Thank you to the entire team at General RV Huntley—you’ve earned lifelong customers!

Our salesperson was the best and sealed the deal. He actually listened to our wants and needs without pressuring us to buy something that was not within our budget. We pretty much already knew what we wanted after visiting other dealerships. We would buy from him (Branden Ashley) again!
