We had a great experience at General RV Center in Ashland, VA with the purchase and installation of after-market theater seating for our RV. We wanted to make sure the fit would be perfect and it would be placed exactly where we wanted it. Tera assisted with the initial purchase and measurements and was very courteous, patient, and professional; NiAsya (our Service Advisor) was very nice and made sure everything was done to our specifications; Jeannie (the Service Manager) was also very nice and made sure our specifications got communicated to the technician; and our technician (Erik) was very professional and patient with us and made sure the seating was placed in the exact spot we wanted so that I was afforded more room behind the passenger seat so that it would fully recline. The install was done just the way we wanted and we could not be happier! All-in-all, we had a great experience with all these staff people and would be happy to use General RV Center again. We highly recommend them!

Our first time with a maintenance issue on our 2025 Coachman Beyond, leaving us without tank heater in freezing weather. Staff at Ashland fit us in, evaluated the problem, then located the replacement part within a few hours and areanged for a timeslot to repair.

We don’t live close, but General RV has a beautiful facility, courteous and professional staff, and an efficient operational approach which makes bringing our Newmar RV there an easy decision every time.
The one on one walk through of the new unit, did have follow up questions that never got answered though and the hard sell for the extended coverage was too much. Overall still a very good experience
Javier L, my service writer is exceptional. I’ve had a few service writers in the past and he is the best I’ve had. I will only work with him if you are able to keep him. He listens to me, super respectful and does what he says he will do. He knew I wanted to check out the fixes before heading for home and he tested things out in the morning to ensure my trip to GRV was going to go as planned. The service provided by the technicians was thorough and my issues were resolved and for less cost than I expected. I’ll be back in the spring for roof wash and treatment. Something has changed since I was there 2 years ago, and it is all positive. I watched interactions with team members and customers in my 6.5 hours there and there is a different vibe, and it is positive.
