Dan Smiley, our agent, help us in many’s ways. We came in for an inspection, to get our trailer resealed, check about a thermostat for the air conditioner, suggested getting a remote control new air conditioner, less time to put in. But when the inspection was completed, found a leak in the roof! We found out the whole roof was bad! Dan help with getting our insurance to pay for all of it, including the behind the cabinets. I would say that everybody was very friendly. I would say that it took a very long time to get things done though so pros and cons I guess be careful with what you ask them to install. We asked them to install our tire gauge thinking they were gonna hot wire it to our battery. They literally screwed the tire cap on and then programmed the keypad and charge us $300 for that now we haven’t talked to them to see if they’ll take that charge off because they didn’t wire it or if they’ll wire it for us, but that’s the only complaint I had. They’re very nice very friendly very truthful I would say but yeah, I’d recommend them.

I was kept up to date during my entire process. They even made sure that someone was at my rig when it was time for me to hook-up and leave.

Trevor in service was great to deal with. It was an insurance claim, but he made the back and forth easy to deal with.

Major issue on slide not retracting or extending. Ashley, Jeff in service and Dax in parts got it taken care of. Parts delivery to dealer by supplier was not ideal but it did get repaired. We bought our Motorhome in Michigan. We live in Arizona and General RV Mesa is great and when traveling through Colorado General RV Longmont. The best.

After shopping around and having some good and bad experiences at other dealers it was a breath of fresh air to visit General RV in Longmont, CO. We were greeted by David Caldero who talked and listed to us on what were were looking for. We walked a couple of travel trailers and found the camper that was perfect for the family. The negotiation process was very uneventful due to the upfront honest price we were first given by the sales team. Even the offer from General RV for our old camper's trade was good.

The service technician (Taylor) was very friendly and accurate in her job. She always kept us informed and explained everything along the way.

Our sales experience was pretty typical of an auto or RV sales experience. Very friendly, not overly pushy and definitely the standard "I'll talk to my manager and see if we can get a deal" type of experience. That's not meant to sound negative, just that their sales operation is pretty typical of car dealerships and RV dealerships we've worked with in the past. The sales rep was easy to work with and friendly to us and our children.

What makes the review a 10 is the post-sales support. After meeting us on a good price on a used camper that was a trade-in, we weren't able to pick it up. Once we bought our used camper we found our 7-pole RV setup on our vehicle wasn't working properly. After my son and I replaced the receptacle we went back the next day to pick up the camper. Still no good. The lights worked but not our brake controller.

Even though this was an issue with our vehicle, the sales manager and the service staff all spent a significant amount of time trying to help us figure out why the wiring wasn't working. They found a problem on the camper that they fixed on the spot, even though it was post-sale, and when our wiring still had issues with the brakes they arranged to get the camper towed to our home. The attitude of the sales manager and the entire service staff was exceptional. No grumbling. No complaining. Just an honest desire to help us get on the road with our new purchase. Really appreciate all the staff put in.
