He’s by far the best service associate I’ve seen at any store in San Francisco (compared to REI, Coffee Shops, Art Stores, Gift Shops, etc).
Very personable store with friendly staff with deep bike knowledge. They built and serviced a new specialized bike for me that I got elsewhere with a very quick turn around at a competitively generous price and gave me answers to all my questions. But let’s talk about the service. These guys are incredibly helpful. I was getting a used bike ready to donate for Christmas, and not only did they show me what I needed to fix the problem that I had in front of them, they took the time to make sure I knew what I was doing and showed me how to “install” what I was replacing in the bike.
Great team in there. Especially a thank you to Lewis, Adrian and Mike. Those are the folks that were extremely helpful and insightful.

The staff, store, and service in that store is unmatched. I’ve had to pop into that store randomly in the middle of a ride and I’ve also used it for renting gear and each time I go in it’s the best customer service ever.
My only gripe is that I wish trek corporate did a better job updating them on pricing changes so products get updated price tags. There often sales that don’t get reflected on a price tag. The item will scan on sale but the physical tags aren’t updated.
