I sent my bike into service for OVERHAUL service package. which it basically means take the whole bike apart. clean and lube the whole thing , and adjust and service for what components need it. The bike mechanic did an amazing job, even went above and beyond when i mention something That i ask to be done was missed. Simple miscommunication between me and the store manager over the phone. No questions asked he simply did the repair. He was also kind enough to let pick his brain on what i needed to upgrade next. I could not be any happier which the service i got!
The maintenance team always takes the time to talk through the work that was done and what I need to pay attention to going forward. They go the extra mile to make sure I'm ready to have the best ride possible.

I called West Point Cycles on West 10th looking for some specific spacers, hoping they’d have them in stock. The person on the phone explained they don’t typically sell these standalone, but offered to check his parts bin. Sure enough, he found exactly what I needed. When I asked the price, he simply said, 'No charge, I'll give them to you.' That was Win #1.
I rode my e-bike conversion over on Tuesday to pick them up. As I started to lock it up outside, a staff member stepped out and said, 'Bring your bike inside, you’re welcome here!' Win #2.
Inside, I was greeted by a helpful staff member who knew exactly why I was there. While she went to the back, a mechanic came out to chat about my project. I explained I needed the spacers for a BB30 bottom bracket to clear space for a sensor. He immediately realized the ones from the bin wouldn't actually fit that specific diameter and explained why. He swapped them for the correct spacers—saving me a massive headache later. Win #3.
I made sure to buy some brake pads I needed while I was there to support the shop. In an age of corporate obsession with profits and the disconnect of online shopping, these specialized community shops provide a vital human connection. They prove that real service and community value still prevail.
