The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I like shopping here because while I enjoy cycling, I don’t know a lot about cycle repair and maintenance. The staff here allow me to be a cycle enthusiast without needing to be a cycling expert. I describe what I’m looking for (or what’s wrong), and they take care of everything.
No one "fitted" me for my new bike... they cut the seat post, and they attached my water holder and bell, but no one addressed the seat placement at all, and I still don't believe I have the correct bike. I did NOT order a white bike, but they insisted that I had the correct bike.
In addition, i think it would be GREAT to have a female on staff specifically to talk to females about bike seats... it's definitely awkward to discuss feminine discomfort caused by a seat with a male.

I have used this shop for about 15 years. Their service folks are super in tune with bike repair, honest and finish the job on time. There have been many times when the repairs were done while I waited. Love the fact that most of the guys have been there the whole time. Great business!
The staff was patient while I tried several different bikes. Their patience and accommodating nature gave me the space I needed to make my decision and I did that day! Plus they said the bike would be ready in 2-3 weeks and mine was ready in 8 days! I love this bike. I took it for a ride and have put on 20 miles so far. It's so awesome. Thank you for being knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

First bike shop since the 90s for me, but I didn’t feel intimidated at all. Test rode the Electra Townie e-bike, and LOVED it. Had lots of questions, and Ken did a great job of answering them all.
Though it’ll be totally worth it, the pricing is out of reach until my next paycheck — hope to pull the trigger next month. Fingers crossed, there will be some inventory left, and I won’t have to wait until the fall.
Just discovered a friend in Oswego bought a Townie last fall, and it’s changed her life. Can’t wait for my new e-bike, too!
