The management and the employees of the Bike Lane are always there when you need help. They respond quickly and efficiently to any issues you have regarding your bike and gear.

Your team started off great as we came by to drop-off the bike for a tune-up on a Monday when you were closed, but one of your employees let us drop it off anyway. Great service! But it was downhill from there. We called back on Thursday morning to see if we could pick it up and were told it had not been worked on yet. Later Thursday we received an email invoice for ~$115 for the tune-up which said the work had been completed. A couple of hours later we received a call saying the work had not been done yet, but it was now $300+ and the bike would not be ready until the following Wednesday. I then came in Wednesday morning to pick it up and was told it was not done yet so I would need to come back.
After the initial great impression, everything else was poor - from communication to timeliness to completion of work.
You have a wide selection of products with many representatives that have a lot of knowledge about the products; I love the location being right near some bike trails
I have a mountain bike that's about eight and a half thousand and they did the initial build and they're top notch
Demis (spelling) was excellent, very helpful in making a bike purchase for my daughter. All of the staff was friendly and hospitable, and the shop and inventory offer just about anything one would need. Thanks!
Everyone on staff at the bike lane from the very bottom to the top are extremely courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. They are always willing to work with you and never come off pushy. The shop is in an excellent location right along the trail and you can always stop in anytime to browse around, get something serviced, or just kick back with a beer and chat with your fellow bikers.
Tom was so helpful and friendly and the first person I came in contact with. And the bike technician fixed my tire in no time. Great service.

The Bike Lane has for many years, at both locations, served the cycling community from serious racers to beginners. They continue to employ people who have years of experience with the wide range of products they offer and they always seem to patiently answer their customers' questions.
The Reston location is practically on the W&OD Trail, which makes it as convenient as a bike shop could possible be. And, these days there is the added bonus of being able to stop in and have a fresh, cold brew from the tap.
Can't say enough positive things about it!
Richard and Tom are the two best mechanics I have ever dealt with. They are experts who get stuff done quickly. I consider myself lucky to have a shop like this down the street.
